In the case of the first movie, yes. It was pretty spot on with the book. If you ask anyone who's read them all, most will tell you the first book is their least favorite, because not alot happens. In the case of the other movies mirroring the books, all I can say is "hardly". There are tons of information and sub-plots/stories that are left out and a lot of the story, itself, is altered to fit Hollywood's agenda.

That's ok if it's not your taste. I'm not the one belittling others because of their interests.

You do realize we are joking around right?

Not really...it's still faggotry but it's cool if you like it.

If you're interested in playing in the 2010 SECTalk Fantasy Baseball League, post in the Games and Fantasy forum and let us know.

I've read a couple of the books and seen a couple of the movies and enjoyed them. I'm by no means a fanatic but they are fun stories. If the books can get kids excited about reading (ok big kids too) then I'm all for it.

Oh and on a sidenote, Ozzy>Dio \m/

Don't be hijacking my frickin thread. Especially with things you haven't a clue about. Ozzy Osbourne is great at what he does, so clear something up for me...are you saying Ozzy is a better entertainer (I can buy that) or that he is a better singer (not even close)? Dio has a 4 octave vocal range, Ozzy stays in one monotone voice through all of his songs.

I think you're trying to pick a fight.

And by the way, Dio is responsible for \m/.

That would be a woman, and he has a point. If razorhead doesn't start this bonehead thread then we wouldn't be arguing.... Well more like myself defending an innocent book while others continue to be a wasteful drag.
