I'm pretty disappointed in this thread. Not one mention of the biggest factor in what has bloated the flow of illegal immigrants to our country.

For every illegal immigrant who comes to this country to find "work under the table" aka cash, they need one thing. Someone willing to ILLEGALLY pay them cash - and not pay the payroll taxes. These are American business owners that do this, and they are cheating this country.

Liken this to the drug distribution trade. Are drug users wrong for seeking them out? Absolutely, but if there were no dealers, they couldn't get any.

STOP PAYING WORKERS UNDER THE TABLE - YOU'RE JUST AS GUILTY!

My cleaning lady is an Independent Contractor. I pay her lass than $600 a year. Thus, I do not need to give her a 1099. It is not my problem if she doesn't file for whatever reason.

Well it appears that the gub'ment can't seem to do anything about the flow of illegals. But they CAN do something about businesses who skirt taxes. Bush understood this and started the process and Obama has continued the audits.

As you recall, there were signs that illegal immigration slowed down over the course of the past year when there weren't any jobs. When there ARE jobs available to illegals, you can deport 1000 of them a day and there will still be more willing to jump the fence. I've just never thought deporting everyone was the answer.

Zartan that is a great question. It's really not that difficult:

1. Vote most of these idiots out congress.
2. Strengthen our borders with more men and technology.
3. Crackdown hard on business that hire illegals.
4. Increase the number and make it easier to get work visas, plus make the punishment harsher on those who don't go home when their visas are up.
5. And the most important of all, we can actually enforce the laws already on the book.

Of course, I say it's not difficult, but if any of these actually happened we'd have the short bused ACLU screaming racism faster than an illegal could jump out the back window when ICE knocks on their door.

I really hope people who are taking up for these illegals get rear ended at a red light by one of them.(no not really)

Let me speak from experience living in Russellville Im not calling the police NEXT time.Im just gonna get out and beat the $3000 it takes to fix my car out of them. Its a GD shame I pay for tons of insurance every year but can be run over by someone who doesnt even have a legal drivers licence and its still my bill.

I ran over an illegal riding a bike in town. When the cops got there, they said "thanks for your service to the community". We all laughed and went to Paddy's for a drink.

Wow. Solving the worlds problems, right here at SECtalk.

SO...

It serves no purpose whatsoever for any american, south american, mexican, peruvian, etc. for the US to join the third world. I firmly believe that it is our responsibility who are more fortunate than others to provide and help others. However, if we are all broke and poor, who benefits? Will the hippies then be satisfied, because we are all then equal? Quote whichever statistics you may, but I will not be convinced that illegal immigration is helping our economy. It is truly sad that some of these countries are hurting so bad, and are so poor that their people are crossing borders illegally. Helping these countries to improve is the best way to curtail illegal immigration, improve the lives of the people, and save our own economy. Many church and religious groups are already working very hard to accomplish this feat. Government handouts to illegals is feeding a man a fish. I wholeheartedly agree with the seperation of church and state, which is amusing to me considering that the only time liberals want to mention religion is when they want to appeal to Christian charity to fund more governmental assistance. I believe that churches, pure religion, is to help the poor and needy. The government, on the other hand, is not a charitable orginization, and does not exist to provide food and healthcare to its people. More churches need to step up to assist the needy throughout the world, and help improve the lives of people in south and central america. The Government needs to step up and enforce the laws of the land, laws that representatives of the people have enacted. Breaking the law is breaking the law. I do not care what color you are, what belief system you have, or whether you agree with the law or not. This includes illegal immigrants.

Actually the senate and the house along with the white house are OWNED by the 'World Bank'/ Wall Street/FED, that is who Congress and the White House get their marching orders from.

We have one party with two divisions......repub/ demo, it's quite obvious......the liberal/ conservative slapstick they put on is a dog and pony show for all of us.

They allow millions of illegals to flow across our borders for a reason...y'all can try and figure that out.....it's fairly easy if you'll take your defense barriers in your brain down. They know it will bankrupt this nation..........this isn't by accident, it is planned. Why else would the MAJORITY of politicians and they aren't stupid, allow this???? Ask yourself that question.

Repent, Turn from Sin and Trust in the Savior for your Salvation......this is the Way of the Master.
