I watched this and thought it sucked. Too much BS waiting around for one minute of action, terrible acting, and not very convincing activity. JMO. Didn't scare me, but it may have been different watching it in a theater.

I just read part of the summary for this book. Once I'm done with Stephen King's It.. if that ever does happen. This one is next on the list.

It's definitely one of those movies that is greatly benefited by watching in theaters. I'm not sure if it'll have the same effect on the computer or even at home in the living room.

If this movie doesn't scare you people just a little bit then you guys have something wrong with you. For some reason I didn't really have problems sleeping at all afterwards though.

The last scene of the movie is the scariest thing I have ever seen. In my entire life. Maybe I haven't seen enough, but that last scene right after she gives "the smile" (you know what I'm talking about) probably caused at least one person in america over the course of the last couple of weeks to deposit a new layer of feces in their chair....

I didn't know what my next book choice would be so I took your advice. I'm about half way through it. He makes some good points about the means to which we lose our religion, but it is not convincing me of the existence of demons. What I found really odd is that my public library has this as Non-Fiction. I guess the librarian who stocked it is a believer.
Were you blessed? I guess for never knowing which road you're choosing.

How the heck did I miss this thread?!

Yes, I saw Paranormal Activity about 2 weeks ago. Freaked me the heck out. Great horror film. One of the best I've seen in years in fact.

If you're interested in playing in the 2010 SECTalk Fantasy Baseball League, post in the Games and Fantasy forum and let us know.

The movie wasn't scary, however, the after-effect was pretty bad...

I couldn't go to sleep because I kept thinking that a little dead girl was gonna come crawling into my room up beside me(my bed is elevated so that I can't see any of the floor) Wait, Im thinking of The Ring... Whateva- after effect was scary.
