We often sit around and talk about our favorite college football memories. So we decided to put them into a column. We settled on 14 questions that will help display some of our favorites in the game. B.J. Bennett is the SouthernPigskin.com Senior Editor, Kevin Thomas and J.T. Bennett are Staff Writers and Charlie K. is SouthernPigskin.com's National Columnist. Send your answers to the questions below to southernpigskin@yahoo.com.

Favorite game ever attended?
B.J. - Appalachian State at Georgia Southern, 2008 - This is the most amazing game I have ever seen in person and I saw it from the sidelines. Had everything in it you could ever want, with Armanti Edwards and ASU holding on. Came down to the final play. Honorable mention goes to the 2007 Gator Bowl. Got to see two of the best players in college football history in Calvin Johnson and Pat White. Saw WVU make an incredible second half comeback. Not a BCS game or a championship game (and I've been to both), but I can't get over getting to see Johnson and White in the same game.

Kevin - North Alabama at Valdosta State, 1996 - Both Division II powers were ranked high nationally. Hal Humme was the head coach for the Blazers. Game went into three overtimes in the first year of the new overtime rules.

J.T. - Florida at Florida State, 1996 - Number one versus number two with a trip to the national championship on the line. Bowden vs Spurrier.

Charlie - Orange Bowl, 1992: Miami vs Nebraska - Classic showdown, classic venue, classic programs with a one point Hurricane win. I'll never forget watching Warren Sapp talk on his cell phone in between series from the Miami sideline.

Favorite game ever watched?
B.J. - Arkansas at Ole Miss, 2001 - My grandfather and I watched in amazement as these two teams went back and forth for seven overtimes. Arkansas ultimately won 58-56.

Kevin - Boston College at Virginia Tech, 2007 - Matt Ryan led BC back late in the game in Blacksburg in the pouring down rain.

J.T. - Appalachian State at Michigan, 2007 - Maybe the greatest upset ever. A game that come down to the final play and the improbable happened wih a block field goal.

Charlie - Fiesta Bowl, 2007: Boise State vs Oklahoma - Best game ever IMO. Back and forth all second half with a statue of liberty trick play winning it and then the running back getting engaged.

Favorite stadium?
B.J. - Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Florida - Big, loud intimidating, hot. Just a brutal place to go on the road and play. You have to like the mix of 85,000 people, football and palm trees. A unique place.

Kevin - Neyland Stadium, Tennessee - Not a beautiful stadium, but an intense atmosphere and a sea of orange. Just huge.

J.T. - Jordan Hare Stadium, Auburn - Stadium has a lot of charm and is on a beautiful part of campus. Gets loud and rowdy, too. Welcome to the jungle.

Charlie - Notre Dame Stadium - Go there and you'll understand.

Favorite Rivalry?
B.J. - Clemson vs South Carolina - Very underrated nationally. Have been to this game in both Clemson and Columbia. Pretty special. This might be cliche' but I'll also say Alabama-Auburn.

Kevin - Alabama vs Auburn - You really can't go with anything else.

J.T. - Florida vs Florida State - These two teams just get after it and there is always a ton of speed and future NFL stars on the field. Was the best rivalry in the nation during the 1990s.

Charlie - Florida vs Georgia - There is a fight somewhere in Georgia or Florida over this game every day of the year.

Best fan base?
B.J. - Alabama - I don't think it gets any more passionate than these folks.

Kevin - LSU - They travel as well as anyone and have an incredible home field advantage. They don't have another BCS conference team in their state.

J.T. - Let me say the South Carolina Gamecocks. They went through times when they had one and two win seasons and still had full stadiums on Saturday.

Charlie - West Virginia - They take passion to a whole new level. WVU football defines the state of West Virginia.

Favorite former offensive player?
B.J. - Kevin Faulk, LSU - An old school do-it-all player who ran wild, caught passes and returned kicks for the Tigers. Has gotten it done in the NFL with the Patriots.

Kevin - Bo Jackson, Auburn - One of the best of all time.

J.T. - Joe Hamilton, Georgia Tech - One of the most electrifying players ever. With Hamilton Georgia Tech was never out of a football game.

Charlie - Barry Sanders, Oklahoma State - People forget how amazing he really was in college. You would hold your breath every time he touched the ball.

Favorite former defensive player?
B.J. - Levar Fisher, NC State - Just a scary guy. Had the cut off jersey look and just destroyed backs and receivers across the middle of the field.

Kevin - Takeo Spikes, Auburn - Dominated everyone he faced. Big, mean and fast.

J.T. - Ronde Barber, Virginia - Played on some real good Cavalier teams with brother Tiki.

Charlie - Lawrence Taylor, North Carolina - Revolutionized defense in many ways. Unblockable.

Favorite Mascot?
B.J. - You have to be impressed with LSU's Mike the Tiger and Florida State's Chief Osceola.

Kevin - Tusk, Arkansas - The Razorbacks actually have a live Razorback. Yikes.

J.T. - Maryland - They are the freaking turtles, how awesome is that?

Charlie - Chief Osceola at Florida State is an amazing part of college football tradition. A total goose bump maker.

Favorite Uniform?
B.J. - Alabama's all white road uniforms are pretty sweet. Honorable mention to FSU's all black uniforms and LSU's purple tops and white helmets.

Kevin - LSU - At night under the lights the Tigers look incredible.

J.T. - LSU - Nothing else like them.

Charlie - Oregon - A lot of people hate these but I give them respect for breaking away from the mold.

Favorite announcer?
B.J. - Wes Durham, Georgia Tech - Makes listening to a game enjoyable. Does Georgia Tech football and basketball and also does the Atlanta Falcons.

Kevin - Mick Hubert, Florida - Has some good calls covering the mighty Gators.

J.T. - Gene Dekerhoff, Florida State - Has some classic calls and is a veteran who has seen it all.

Charlie - Tony Roberts, Notre Dame - When Roberts was on the air it just felt like football. His call of the game was epic. Also mention goes to "The Voice" Jack Flemming. Flemming is a legend and called games for both West Virginia and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Favorite college town?
B.J. - Chapel Hill, North Carolina - What a college town should be. Clean, lush, pretty, diverse. A special place.

Kevin - Oxford, Mississippi - The college is the town and the women are incredible.

J.T. - Charleston, The Citadel - To me Charleston is the best city on earth. The Citadel's campus is just amazing and is close to some great spots on the Carolina coast.

Charlie - Austin, Texas - Doesn't get much better. Beautiful weather, beautiful women and a clean, progressive city.

Favorite restaurant?
B.J. - Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Charleston, SC - Not a real original choice, but the setting is great and the restaurant is right in downtown Charleston near the water.

Kevin - The Varsity, Atlanta, Georgia - You can get a dad gum chili dog, onion rings and a varsity orange.

.J.T. - Willie's Wee-Nee Wagon, Brunswick, GA (on way to FLA-GA) - If you are driving on 1-95, stop by. The Pork Chop sandwich is famous.

Charlie - Nick's Italian Kitchen, Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Authentic Italian at its best. Try their seafood pasta!

Favorite gameday food?
B.J. - BBQ Ribs - I don't care if it gets messy, that's what napkins are for. BBQ Ribs on Saturday at lunch right outside of a stadium...doesn't get any better.

Kevin - Smoked chicken wings. Let me know if you are having these at your tailgate.

J.T. - Hot dogs - OK so these are horrible for you, but who cares.

Charlie - BBQ, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans.

When you think southern football, you think...?
B.J. - Bear Bryant and Bobby Bowden - Two legendary icons who, along with Penn State head coach Joe Paterno, are the best coaches of all time.

Kevin - Bear Bryant. Just typifies the game in this part of the country.

J.T. - Team colored pants and button downs and shirtless fanatics - The fan bases down here are so passionate and the mix in the stands is always interesting to see.

Charle - Tailgating and the best football in the country. And those pretty little sundresses are nice too!

Auburn
Great read.... I'll give my own two cents as if anyone cares what I think..... I'm going to try to give as many non-AU answers as possible.... unless there simply isn't a choice that is even close.

Favorite Game ever attended:
Auburn vs. Florida 2001: My wife stayed at home for this one (she was 7 months pregnant) but she did watch on TV. The Gators came into Jordan-Hare ranked #2 in the nation and favored by 20 plus points. Steve Spurrier, the gator players, and fans all figured they would hammer Auburn like a 16 penny nail. Instead I witnessed one of the hardest fought and nail biting games ever witnessed by mankind. As time was about to expire and the ref raised his arms to signal that Duval's game winning field goal (kicked into a hard wind w/ rain no less!) was good the place absolutely erupted. The noise was simply incredible and the victory one of the sweetest I've ever tasted.

Favorite game ever watched?
1992 Sugar Bowl - According to the experts Bama had no business being on the same field as the Hurricanes of Miami. This game was going to be over by halftime. The experts forgot to tell all of the to Bama however. I must disclose that I had one of those bets on this game with a girl that no matter the outcome you cannot lose. That did have some effect on my choice here.

Favorite stadium?
UGA's Sanford Stadium. It reminds me a lot of our own and we've had a good deal of success playing there.

Favorite Rivalry: (other than the Iron Bowl which has no peer)
Bama vs. UT - This is one game I've never had the chance to see in person but always have wanted to. Wile there are the occasional blow-out, it's usually a hard fought close game.

Best fan base?
South Carolina - no matter how much they are disappointed by their team they always stick with them... gotta respect that.

Favorite former offensive player?
Jason Campbell - OK, I know I said I'd give non-AU answers where possible... but I really liked this guy. He took a good deal of abuse and in the end proved to be a champion.

Favorite former defensive player?
Tracy Rocker - Yes, he is another Auburn player... but there are few who could even be compared to him.

Favorite Mascot
LSU's Mike the Tiger..... gotta love the tiger.

Favorite Uniform
LSU - in the purple jerseys. I know it's tradition and all to wear the whites, but I just like the look when LSU wears their purple.

Favorite Announcer
Kenny Stabler. I know he was not the announcer... I know he was in fact a pill popping drunk who liked to chase good looking women. but when he was doing color for a Bama game there was no doubt that he would put on the pads and a helmet and take the field at any moment if they'd just let him.

Favorite College Town
Oxford, MS - That is one awesome place to be on a fall afternoon.

Favorite Restaurant
Dreamland (the original shack) in Tuscaloosa. That is the only place I've been that can come close to making ribs almost as good as my own.

Favorite Gameday food
MY ribs..... see above.

When you think of Southern football, you think?
Vern Ludquist on the TV calling the SEC game of the week. Sitting in my recliner with a cold one, good friends and family sitting there with me. The kids in the yard, divided in to teams determined by the blue or crimson jersey they wore that day. About 20 minutes to go before I pull the ribs from the smoker and 30 minutes until kickoff.

Favorite Game ever attended: Hard to beat the 2007 game between the hedges against Auburn. That was the original blackout. The atmosphere in that stadium on that night will never again be matched, that much I am sure of. One of those memories that will stay with me as long as I live.

Favorite game ever watched? Probably Texas vs. USC for the 2005 National Championship. Watching Vince Young defeat the Trojans (who I hate) was one of the most exciting MNC games ever.

Favorite stadium? Aside from our own, f the ones I've been to, I'd give the nod to Commonwealth Stadium at UK. Not the biggest place, not the fanciest, but the home crowd is a good one, and the tailgating is top notch.

Favorite Rivalry: Aside from the WLOCP, I'd go with Ohio State-Michigan. Outside of SEC football it's the closest thing to what we in the South call a rivalry.

Best fan base? Probably Auburn. They are always good visitors when they come to Athens.

Favorite former offensive player? Darren McFadden, dude was a beast.

Favorite former defensive player? Sorry, can't go outside of UGA on this one. David Pollack, hands down.

Favorite Mascot: Uh, live Mascot? You can't beat Uga. But if we're going with those plushy costumed guys, I'd say Cocky from USC. Best one in the SEC right there.

Favorite Uniform: UGA of course. But again, aside from our own, I like Texas' uniforms. The burnt orange and white looks outstanding.

Favorite Announcer: Larry Munson.

Favorite College Town: Athens, GA.

Favorite Restaurant: Jot 'em down BBQ here in Athens is really good.

Favorite Gameday food: I love hamburgers and hot dogs. Easy to cook and lets face it, there just isn't much better than a good hot dog topped with chili and onions.... mmmmmm. Add in the side fixins, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, etc.... you've got the best tailgate food possible.

When you think of Southern football, you think?
Cool Fall Saturdays, masses of people wearing red and black all moving across campus... beautiful girls in red and black dresses with those little bulldog stickers on their cheeks, rum, lots of rum and coke, the sound of "glory, glory" echoing in the cool air, the smell of charcoal grills wafting over East campus..... OK, I'm getting too excited, time to stop.

Well, mine's going to be a list of raging homer picks.

Favorite game ever attended? UK - UofL last year. We rented one of those fancy buses and took 50 of us to Louisville. Had beer bottles and hot dogs thrown at us we were so rowdy. Almost had to fight some bums and some pissed off UofL fans. It was a helluva time, as UK won 27-2 at the Pizza Pit. I'd say any one of the Tim Couch/Craig Yeast games I went to would be up there, but for the shear amount of fun I had, this UK-UofL game was awesome.
Favorite game ever watched? '98 UK-Bama or '07 UK-LSU
Favorite stadium? Commonwealth of course
Favorite Rivalry? Besides the Governor's Cup, the Iron Bowl
Best fan base? Love partying w/my Virginia Tech peeps in Blacksburg. Have yet to party w/more than a few LSU fans at a time...I'd love to do it in large numbers. As long as the bastards cook me some food.
Favorite former offensive player? Tim Couch
Favorite former defensive player? right now...really lovin Jeremy Jarmon
Favorite Mascot? The Wildcat, and then I'd say the Hilltopper
Favorite Uniform? Carolina's black uni's
Favorite Announcer? Will ALWAYS be Cawood Ledford
Favorite College Town? really loved Boone, NC (App State)
Favorite Gameday food? Any form of chicken
When you think of Southern football, you think: Best damn fans on the planet, hottest damn women on the planet, greatest damn food on the planet, best damn football on the planet. And the bourbon's great too

Favorite game ever attended? 2008, Baton Rouge, LSU v. Ole Miss (1st Magnolia Bowl) I like the LSU forum members on this board, but I hate LSU. We at Ole Miss hate LSU more than any other team. Most of the people I didn't like in high school went to LSU. Most of the fans I met in Baton Rouge jeered about how badly we would lose. To beat them finally after five years of being killed by them was awesome vindication. They are a great team and an incredible University. The fans were incredibly classy after we won though, so cheers.

Favorite game ever watched? Arky vs. LSU 2007. What an awesome game

Favorite stadium? LSU, hands down

Favorite Rivalry? Bama/Auburn

Best fan base? South Carolina, These guys travel and are incredibly classy. They haven't watched a national championship team but are nevertheless faithful. For the same reason, Kentucky fans place a close second.

Favorite former offensive player? Eli Manning

Favorite former defensive player? Peria Jerry

Favorite Mascot? Colonel Rebel

Favorite Uniform? Bama (especially the helmets)

Favorite College Town? Oxford or Athens for classic college towns, Tulane and New Orleans for the fun factor

Favorite Gameday food? Seagrams Seven and 7-Up, who needs food when you have whiskey. Chicken-on-a-Stick after the game to morn a loss or celebrate a victory

Favorite Restaurant? BBB (Big Bad Breakfast) in Oxford, MS. If you are coming to Oxford, get directions to this place. Classic southern breakfast with a gourmet twist. Their homemade biscuits are amazing.

Runner-up: City Grocery, Oxford, How Shrimp and Grits are supposed to me made

Honorable Mention: Taylor Grocery, Taylor MS, Best catfish and brown baging fun

When you think of Southern football, you think: Dressing up in blazers and bow ties to root your team on
