Favorite game ever attended?
B.J. - Appalachian State at Georgia Southern, 2008 - This is the most amazing game I have ever seen in person and I saw it from the sidelines. Had everything in it you could ever want, with Armanti Edwards and ASU holding on. Came down to the final play. Honorable mention goes to the 2007 Gator Bowl. Got to see two of the best players in college football history in Calvin Johnson and Pat White. Saw WVU make an incredible second half comeback. Not a BCS game or a championship game (and I've been to both), but I can't get over getting to see Johnson and White in the same game.
Kevin - North Alabama at Valdosta State, 1996 - Both Division II powers were ranked high nationally. Hal Humme was the head coach for the Blazers. Game went into three overtimes in the first year of the new overtime rules.
J.T. - Florida at Florida State, 1996 - Number one versus number two with a trip to the national championship on the line. Bowden vs Spurrier.
Charlie - Orange Bowl, 1992: Miami vs Nebraska - Classic showdown, classic venue, classic programs with a one point Hurricane win. I'll never forget watching Warren Sapp talk on his cell phone in between series from the Miami sideline.
Favorite game ever watched?
B.J. - Arkansas at Ole Miss, 2001 - My grandfather and I watched in amazement as these two teams went back and forth for seven overtimes. Arkansas ultimately won 58-56.
Kevin - Boston College at Virginia Tech, 2007 - Matt Ryan led BC back late in the game in Blacksburg in the pouring down rain.
J.T. - Appalachian State at Michigan, 2007 - Maybe the greatest upset ever. A game that come down to the final play and the improbable happened wih a block field goal.
Charlie - Fiesta Bowl, 2007: Boise State vs Oklahoma - Best game ever IMO. Back and forth all second half with a statue of liberty trick play winning it and then the running back getting engaged.
Favorite stadium?
B.J. - Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Florida - Big, loud intimidating, hot. Just a brutal place to go on the road and play. You have to like the mix of 85,000 people, football and palm trees. A unique place.
Kevin - Neyland Stadium, Tennessee - Not a beautiful stadium, but an intense atmosphere and a sea of orange. Just huge.
J.T. - Jordan Hare Stadium, Auburn - Stadium has a lot of charm and is on a beautiful part of campus. Gets loud and rowdy, too. Welcome to the jungle.
Charlie - Notre Dame Stadium - Go there and you'll understand.
Favorite Rivalry?
B.J. - Clemson vs South Carolina - Very underrated nationally. Have been to this game in both Clemson and Columbia. Pretty special. This might be cliche' but I'll also say Alabama-Auburn.
Kevin - Alabama vs Auburn - You really can't go with anything else.
J.T. - Florida vs Florida State - These two teams just get after it and there is always a ton of speed and future NFL stars on the field. Was the best rivalry in the nation during the 1990s.
Charlie - Florida vs Georgia - There is a fight somewhere in Georgia or Florida over this game every day of the year.
Best fan base?
B.J. - Alabama - I don't think it gets any more passionate than these folks.
Kevin - LSU - They travel as well as anyone and have an incredible home field advantage. They don't have another BCS conference team in their state.
J.T. - Let me say the South Carolina Gamecocks. They went through times when they had one and two win seasons and still had full stadiums on Saturday.
Charlie - West Virginia - They take passion to a whole new level. WVU football defines the state of West Virginia.
Favorite former offensive player?
B.J. - Kevin Faulk, LSU - An old school do-it-all player who ran wild, caught passes and returned kicks for the Tigers. Has gotten it done in the NFL with the Patriots.
Kevin - Bo Jackson, Auburn - One of the best of all time.
J.T. - Joe Hamilton, Georgia Tech - One of the most electrifying players ever. With Hamilton Georgia Tech was never out of a football game.
Charlie - Barry Sanders, Oklahoma State - People forget how amazing he really was in college. You would hold your breath every time he touched the ball.
Favorite former defensive player?
B.J. - Levar Fisher, NC State - Just a scary guy. Had the cut off jersey look and just destroyed backs and receivers across the middle of the field.
Kevin - Takeo Spikes, Auburn - Dominated everyone he faced. Big, mean and fast.
J.T. - Ronde Barber, Virginia - Played on some real good Cavalier teams with brother Tiki.
Charlie - Lawrence Taylor, North Carolina - Revolutionized defense in many ways. Unblockable.
Favorite Mascot?
B.J. - You have to be impressed with LSU's Mike the Tiger and Florida State's Chief Osceola.
Kevin - Tusk, Arkansas - The Razorbacks actually have a live Razorback. Yikes.
J.T. - Maryland - They are the freaking turtles, how awesome is that?
Charlie - Chief Osceola at Florida State is an amazing part of college football tradition. A total goose bump maker.
Favorite Uniform?
B.J. - Alabama's all white road uniforms are pretty sweet. Honorable mention to FSU's all black uniforms and LSU's purple tops and white helmets.
Kevin - LSU - At night under the lights the Tigers look incredible.
J.T. - LSU - Nothing else like them.
Charlie - Oregon - A lot of people hate these but I give them respect for breaking away from the mold.
Favorite announcer?
B.J. - Wes Durham, Georgia Tech - Makes listening to a game enjoyable. Does Georgia Tech football and basketball and also does the Atlanta Falcons.
Kevin - Mick Hubert, Florida - Has some good calls covering the mighty Gators.
J.T. - Gene Dekerhoff, Florida State - Has some classic calls and is a veteran who has seen it all.
Charlie - Tony Roberts, Notre Dame - When Roberts was on the air it just felt like football. His call of the game was epic. Also mention goes to "The Voice" Jack Flemming. Flemming is a legend and called games for both West Virginia and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Favorite college town?
B.J. - Chapel Hill, North Carolina - What a college town should be. Clean, lush, pretty, diverse. A special place.
Kevin - Oxford, Mississippi - The college is the town and the women are incredible.
J.T. - Charleston, The Citadel - To me Charleston is the best city on earth. The Citadel's campus is just amazing and is close to some great spots on the Carolina coast.
Charlie - Austin, Texas - Doesn't get much better. Beautiful weather, beautiful women and a clean, progressive city.
Favorite restaurant?
B.J. - Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Charleston, SC - Not a real original choice, but the setting is great and the restaurant is right in downtown Charleston near the water.
Kevin - The Varsity, Atlanta, Georgia - You can get a dad gum chili dog, onion rings and a varsity orange.
.J.T. - Willie's Wee-Nee Wagon, Brunswick, GA (on way to FLA-GA) - If you are driving on 1-95, stop by. The Pork Chop sandwich is famous.
Charlie - Nick's Italian Kitchen, Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Authentic Italian at its best. Try their seafood pasta!
Favorite gameday food?
B.J. - BBQ Ribs - I don't care if it gets messy, that's what napkins are for. BBQ Ribs on Saturday at lunch right outside of a stadium...doesn't get any better.
Kevin - Smoked chicken wings. Let me know if you are having these at your tailgate.
J.T. - Hot dogs - OK so these are horrible for you, but who cares.
Charlie - BBQ, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans.
When you think southern football, you think...?
B.J. - Bear Bryant and Bobby Bowden - Two legendary icons who, along with Penn State head coach Joe Paterno, are the best coaches of all time.
Kevin - Bear Bryant. Just typifies the game in this part of the country.
J.T. - Team colored pants and button downs and shirtless fanatics - The fan bases down here are so passionate and the mix in the stands is always interesting to see.
Charle - Tailgating and the best football in the country. And those pretty little sundresses are nice too!
