| Wav 104.1 ! That was my station when I lived in georgetown county. That and 107.1 "the sound", from around 2003-2007. All of a sudden around christmas last year, I check the dial while I'm in town and it's some type of friggin R&B station.... | ||

| When it started up, I almost gave up on it. The start was too much. When the vocals came in it caught my attention. When the song reach the half way point, to me that's when it started hitting on all cylinders. From that point I thought it finish really good and everything seem to even out, vocals and instruments. I know your asking yourself, what's this old puke know about music. But I'll have you know I have help produce several up and coming bands in the Oklahoma City, Little Rock and Memphis area. You may have heard of my latest find in the musical world, The Mucus plugs. ![]() The Mucus plugs rocks Siler City | ||

| I liked it a lot actually. I'm a fan of this type of music and I'm a fan of hard guitar intros. I enjoyed the lyrics and echo back vocals. The vocals remind me of a mixture of AFI and 30 Seconds to Mars actually. Kinde of simular sound of music in a way, but a pretty good sound that coud have people singing the second time around. If there was one thing I enjoyed the most from the song it was the vocals from your friend John. The yelling vocals were what reminded me of AFI and 30 Seconds to Mars. They seem to be more Alternative and Hard Rock though...here is a example of those two. 30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill AFI - Silver and Cold | ||

| Yeah 104.1 is still going. It's the only station I have left to listen to when I'm in gtown. We used to get the best of both worlds, b/c we would have the MB stations and the Charleston stations. So I would rotate between 96.1, 104.1, and then later 107.1. 107.1 is now R&B/Gospel though, changed formats about 6 months ago I think (at least that's when I first noticed it, when I was in town for Christmas). 96.1 in charleston is now one of those mixed formats, "chuck fm", etc. They have a "steve" version in columbia. 104.1 & 93.7/93.9 is what my dial is on when I'm in the grand strand.... | ||

| I didn't care for it, which means it must be pretty good Bulldog Bry President, Krokus Fan Club (even for a rough cut, it sounds good) | ||

| It was alright... reminded me a bit of smashing pumpkins. I would prefer they cut down on the echo effect in the vocals though, made it too garbled. Also, from strictly a technical standpoint, it needs some variety in there. It carries the same theme pretty much from the start, it needs some kind of interlude. But FWIW, they sound better than half of the bands that play the local clubs in Athens. | ||
