LSU. A lot of solid teams but LSU is the only elite one.

Me, too. I pick LSU; not to just win the West, but to win the SEC. I think they'll beat Tennessee twice.

Not that it really matters but you do know that this poll was for the 2004 season, right?

I'll count Auburn out, and Arkansas, and Ole Miss and Miss. St. LSU is hands-down the most talented team in the West now and should win it, but Bama will have a very good team too. I voted for the Tigers (LSU) too. Who the hell voted for Ole Miss 4 times? lol. No chance.

Yeah, Bama's got a damn good chance. Hey, anytime your team strengths are your great defense and great quarterback, you should be in good shape. Bama could very well win the West next year. They should be tough as hell. LSU has more talent than probably anybody in the league, but they did loose some key guys on the defensive side of the ball, and that could play against them. Right now, I just can't pick anybody but LSU, but it'd be no surprise to see Bama have a fantastic team next year. Is Darby back next year? Upchurch will help immediately at HB too. God, we needed him worse at Arkansas. We're in trouble next year. But our basketball team is looking like they're finally on the up, so that will satisfy me!

With the downer with Saban leaving, I have taken solice in our women's basketball team for the time being. They are bouncing around between number 1 and number 2 in the AP poll rather consistently. They've only lost one game... to, of all people, Rutgers!

Yeah for real , that's odd. But, LSU's women could very well be cuttin down the nets wherever the women's final 4 is.

Shoot, I'd take solice in "Baby Shaq" man if I were at LSU. Glen Davis, btw. That fool ate us alive down in Baton Rouge. He's a load. Where's he from? Louisiana?
