Vandy Vandy's starting quarterback?
Mackenzi Adams, Larry Smith or Jared Funk? Who's better one? I like Larry Smith because he reminds me of Vince Young.

Adams is a 5th year senior. He has won us a few big games. Like Auburn last year. Honestly though, I think he plays ALOT better when he comes in off the bench.
Smith did great in the bowl game last year. We will see who is the best when we go to LSU.

I too think Adams has played better in relief, and chose Smith. Also, welcome to SECTalk! We need all the Commodore fans we can get, so stick around!

I voted for Adams. I couldn't stand watching him last season at Commonwealth. No excuse for UK losing that game. But apparently I made it on to ESPN w/a bottle of bourbon to my lips

I thought Makenzie Adams did a great job last year.....they should give him a shot.
"You have to create six seconds of hell each play and we did that tonight," said Coach Nick Saban after beating Va. Tech 34-24

He did.....

Off the bench.

Look at the auburn game. Nickson started, got hurt. Adams comes in and wins. Miss State game, nickson started, had a bad game, Adams came in and led a scoreing drive.

Now. The Duke game last year. Adams started. We lost..to Duke. We only scored 7 points in that game. sure, he threw for 200 yards, but had 2 ints. Bottom line, we lost.

As far as I can remember he only had one good game as a starter, Sc in 07. and btw vandy only scored in the 1st quarter.

Nickson had some of the worst games ever, then threw for 150 yards and 3 tds vs UK. and we won.

Smith did great in the Bowl game. led 3 scoreing drives. We need to seeif he is the Qb who can at least have 2 good games in a row.

No one has my vote. I said this alllast year, if the Qb has 2 bad drives swap him out, we would have won 9 games lastyear hadtheyjust not waited so long to go to qb #2.

BTW they used all three in the bowl game, and we won.

i'm telling you, larry smith is the way to go. i had the privilege of watching him in high school. he's very smart, doesn't make many mistakes, and can make almost any throw you want. i'd say he'd be the starter at least at auburn.
