Kiffin is a douchebag. He played not to get embarrased when he could have won. It was frickin disgusting. He should have his ass kicked. Since when are Vol fans happy with moral victories?
Think they are happy the score wasn't 63-3.

The Vols did EVERYTHING they wanted today on the road, in the Swamp, against the defending National Champs, and without a QB. The Gator coaching staff got worked over by the Vols' coaching staff today. When was the last time that happened??
I'll be the first to say (and always have been) that the only thing that matters is the scoreboard, but Kiff and the Vols served notice today that the groundwork is finally being laid to getting this program back where it belongs... back on top. Make sure and get your shots in this year, boys because it's your last chance for quite a while!

I think Tennessee played a good game. But if the Vols did everything they wanted to in the Swamp, worked over Florida's coaching staff, and still lost the game.......then that speaks volumes about where Tennessee is compared to where Forida is.
Besides, moral victories are for the Big 11 and Notre Dame......I'm glad you're happy though.

You should be on ESPN. I really did not know where Florida was compared to us. I did not figure it out last year when they won the BCS over Oklahoma and we fired our coach and did not make a bowl game and lost to Wyoming. However, now thanks to you I know where we are compared to Florida. Not only am I happy, I feel more informed.
I really enjoyed the game, I'll tell you that. And part of me was rooting for UT, even though I live in UT country and would never hear the end of it if they won. But I am really getting sick and tired of this moral victory stuff. I believe in a moral victory but for me and my fellow fans alone.
There's no way Tennessee fans should be publicizing this lost, no matter how much you were supposed to lose by. Lane Kiffin took up a whole quarter of play with a drive and then Florida went on cruise control. I AM saying that Tennessee's defense looked amazing, but there's no room to brag about this game. Looking back on this I don't think UT fans are going to call this the game that helped get them back to where they were. It just won't be. You have to go out there and win a game to consider yourself a winner and above all try to be considered a winner.

Imagine if two people got into a fight and everyone said Tom would kick Bob's a@s all over the bike racks. Tom wins the fight, but Bob is savvy and holds his own. Don't you think everyone is going to find new respect for Bob?

First and foremost, congrats to the Gators! You guys made the plays when it counted most, we didn't! That's the difference between winners and losers. Not to mention having a GOD like Tebow doesn't hurt!
But let me spread some love on my Vols. Yes I know it's still a loss and we're now 1-2, but I haven't been this excited about my program in many, many years. And those of you who have been here long enough KNOW that I wasn't even a believer in this team or this program a couple of years ago when we WON the East. I'm still waiting to see even a SHRED of evidence that Kiffin was a bad hire that so many of you haters claim he is. Here me now and believe me later (thanks Hans! ).... Things are looking up...but you will be playing Alabama, Florida, and Georgia every single year plus you will have a West rotation including an improving Arkansas program, an always tough LSU team, the rising Ole Miss Rebels, and never forget Auburn. Good luck...and make sure Kiffin keeps the "For Sale" signs handy just in case.
