Call it a gut feeling. Tyler stays. I'll eat crow if I'm wrong, but I won't be.

RTR
He has been somewhat under the radar at UT this year outside the SEC due to Lofton's notoriety. After he leads UT to the final four next year it will be different.

^True story. W/that said, I too think he's staying.

Now on an unrelated note, let's laugh:

Final Four next year? of what? the N.I.T. Even you Ted have to admit the Vols will be stepping backwards next year. Let's be realistic. It's 14:59.

Here we go again....

It's way to premature to be calling a Final 4 shot, but why exactly are the Vols going to be stepping backwards next season?? We lose Lofton and JaJuan, but it's not like there isn't quality depth to step in. A healthy Crews and a more polished Chism and Sophomore Brian Williams makes us stronger in the middle, Tyler Smith is likely back and is an early candidate for SECPOY, JP Prince and Ramar Smith round out the back court and there's plenty of young talent on the bench. Not sure that this is a NT contender, but another SEC Title and Sweet 16 appearance is a VERY realistic goal!!
Phyllis-But it is a big deal. You almost killed Stanley.
Dwight-Yeah right! I filled him full of butter and sugar for 50 years and forced him not to exercise!

I don't see any UT fan saying NT contender in this thread. A Sweet 16 appearance is the most likely without Lofton's and Smith's perimeter shooting and leadership.

Don't forget Scotty Hopson. He is going to have a Kevin Durant type impact.

I don't see UT going anywhere, with or without TS. Pearl has built a program that should only continue to excel and challenge in the SEC and nation. I've said it before... basketball in the SEC ain't a one-trick pony anymore. Some programs better get used to it.
