Happy Thanksgiving everyone....no matter what happens in the Peach, it's been a very good year to be a Gamecock.
I'm thankful that our football team came together and started playing as a team late in close games rather than waiting for one of them to make a big play.
I'm thankful that we had one of the best, if not the best, recruiting classes in the nation in baseball and are definitely going to be a team no one wants to play; and I mean no one.
I'm thankful our basketball team hasn't lost yet and am hopeful for a solid season, if not a championship (psst ODOM, an ncaa appearance would be nice!

) one.
I'm thankful that we proved to the critics that yes, it can happen. Those who doubted, Corso
AND Beeds
most notably but many others as well, were wrong. We just went 7-4 through a tough #$@$ schedule with a sophmore QB, two true freshman RB's, ...and SIDNEY RICE. With the defections, the suspensions, the dismissed and the benched of a huge part of our team, that coaching job to me was nothing short of miraculous. And we should have won that Clemson game...that's the last they get. It seriously is not going to take add the depth and talent we're going to need to challenge for our next set of goals. I'll let Spurrier tell you what those are in his own time but we'll accomplish more of them that we'll not & I'll take that.
I'm thankful for all things personal to me and for you fine people here who provide me with a nice break from the storm life can be sometimes. I've enjoyed this past football season more than almost any since I was a student as USC & it's because I had here to come to for all things SEC, Gamecocks included.

Chris, Neo, dudeman, Jordan, GN, Geaux....ya'll rock. You regular posting type people like myself, y'all rock too. Each in their own way. Even if you're an asshole. Y'all rock at being assholes.
I'm off to drink some beers, eat till I can't move anymore and drink some more beers & watch football till I fall asleep....
HAPPY THANKSGIVING
