According to what I am being told, it is being debated on whether the administration should kick Noah Whiteside off the team for his role in the laptop thefts. Apparently from what I'm being told is that he and Troy Williamson are the only ones implicated in this matter.
Also, I have heard that Troy Williamson was given a choice. He could return to USC with a revoked scolly or he could forgo his senior year and enter the draft. As you know, he chose the latter. It surely would explain why Spurrier is seriously pursuing WR's. As I hear more, I will surely pass it on.

Do you know who was responsible for making the decision to release the players? Was it Spurier?
I was told that McGee and Sorenson approached Spurrier and requested his imput. He (Spurrier) said that he thought the players should be removed and has taken a stance with McGee and Sorenson.

I don't know all the circumstances involving these players, therefore am reluctant to offer an opinion, however if these player were indeed involved in theft of any property, the administration including Spurrier are doing the right thing by letting them go Imo
Actually, this is so hush-hush, that I am going to have to delete this thread and ban DeL for talking about it.
The facts are:
After it was decided that USC was not going to a bowl, apparently three (3) players took it upon themselves to steal 16K worth of electronic equipment including; laptops, projectors, DVD-R's, ect, ect.
All of the items were returned the next day except for the laptops. The administration does not know who the third individual was and I really don't think they ever will unless Whiteside or Williamson snitches on him.

Now that is just stupid. Why in the world would someone feel like they need to steal stuff, especially if they know that they could jeopardize their football career.

Idiots!!!
That's why I support McGee and Sorenson kicking the boys off of the team. In their defense, they did bring it back the next day, but that's besides the point. Where's the loyalty to the school that has given so much to you?
