Default 2008-2009 College Football Bowl Pick 'Ems
SECTalk.com will host a College Football Bowl Pick 'Ems Contest for the 2008-2009 Bowl Season. This contest will not be based on the spread.

Picks will be due on December 19th, 10 PM (CST). All games have been entered and can be picked at the following URL:
http://www.sectalk.com/boards/vbpool...&vbpool_weekid

Prizes include:
1st place: Fathead (choice of Reggie Bush, Emmitt Smith and Brian Urlacher - $149 value)
2nd place: T-shirt of choice from our Apparel Store (value of upto $20)
3rd place: Hat of choice from our Apparel Store (value of upto $15)
In order to be eligible for prizes, you must have atleast 100 posts. Ties will be broken based on membership longevity, post count, reputation level and activity.

Props go out to Gamecock_Fan once again for handling the bowl game picks.

12/10 Update: I have worked out a deal with Fathead to offer additional players. Some are with past teams, but at leats we have more selection!

Not complaining but was there there a reason for those three particular fatheads?
I'm trying to find a pattern with those three guys. I don't know about the other two, but I know Bush wasn't an SEC guy. Chicago isn't a southern NFL team. Are they just random?
I would have thought you'd just make it any fathead of our choice.

Fathead was generous enough to sponsor this and they gave us the choices. We figured most people would be pretty happy to have any of those three so we decided to use it as a prize for the Bowl Pick 'Ems.

Hope that makes sense

Like Benny said, we have a deal with Fathead through one of their top online retailers, Sports Shop. When we realized the opportunity to do this deal it was kind of a "beggars can't be choosers" situation and while this may not be a fantastic selection, these things are pretty darn cool. I have a team helmet on my wall at home and even my wife loves it.

By the way, we added 7 new Fathead options for a total of 10 to the list above. Check 'em out!
