Vandy Possible Site Issue
After the Super Bowl, we will be upgrading this site to the latest and greatest updates. Instead of 2-3 steps up, this is a couple flights of stairs worth of updates. In order to get this done, we hade to upgrade the version of SQL. I am prepping things now and we did this SQL update this AM. I think some of you may see an error or two here and there. If you do and it's not a detriment to your use of the site, bear with us a few weeks. We will get there.

Why wait until after the Superbowl? Simple, I am waiting for the Pick'ems to get done. I don't want to risk losing the database of games until it's over. Once we upgrade, we will also be upgrading to the newest version of the pick'em software.

I have some good surprises in store for this upgrade. Keep an eye out!

Yes definately. I am trying to figure that one out. I am most likely going to move forward with the upgrade before Super Bowl now and then fix the pick'ems.

An arcade would be sweet, I've seen sites where if you have the high score in a certain game it shows up as a medal in your avatar. Neat stuff.

I am assuming that not being able to insert emoticons into posts by clicking on their icons, or not being able to access other ports via links are some of the "issues" we'll be seeing until the updates are final??

I can just copy and paste the emoticon's code into the post, and it works fine, so I will go that route in the interim, no biggie.....
