You would think by looking at the score that the game was fairly close. I'm sorry to disappoint you. This game was totally dominated by the Hurricanes. It appeared that Florida had somewhat of a chance to win this game, but that chance disappeared rather quickly as the second quarter ended. From the line of scrimmage, Miami just dominated the line and constantly pressured Florida QB Chris Leak into making mistakes and boy did he make them. This is by far, the worst game I have ever seen Leak play in. At times, he looked like the typical true freshman. A lot of Gator fans are ready to put this game behind them and wait for the "Urban Myth" to come onboard. Frankly, I can't blame them.

As for Miami, they came to play and win. The Hurricanes had "Superman" speed off the ball and was constantly chasing Leak out of the pocket. The Hurricane defense had accumilated four (4) sacks on Leak in just the first half alone. Roscoe Parrish also showed his super-human speed with his 72 yard punt returned for a touchdown. What does this game mean? It means that even with the fluke losses to North Carolina and Clemson, Miami can still come in and dominate a Top-25 caliber team.

Leak finished the night going 19/39 262 yards 1 TD and 2 INT's.

Boy! Charlie Strong looked like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming 18-wheeler. He looked scared to death. He wasn't moving and they ran him over. He's not ready for prime time. Call in Deion Sanders for some confidence lessons.

Take It From Someone Who Was There-it Was'nt Close Florida Looked Like Crap-- Even In Warmups They Looked Flat. Definately Not Ready To Play. Miami Did'nt Look Too Good Either. Def. Looked Great But Their Offense Looked Flat As Well--thank God For Special Teams! The Game Was Painful To Watch. I Agree Delo Charlie Did'nt Exactly Advertise Himself Ready For Big Time. I Don't Know If The Team Was Distracted Or What But They Did'nt Come Ready To Play. You Would Think Playing Miami Would Be Motivation Enough.

Charlie Strong is not ready for the Big Boys. He may be a good Div. II head coach, but then again he may not.

He really wasn't that great of a DC while he was at USC. He wasn't bad, but he wasn't great.

I think he may be a good DC, but head coach he is not. If I were a Florida fan, I would have been totally embarrassed by their performance. CS did not have that team prepared one bit.

I think Strong could be a good head coach one day. He has a good chemistry with his players and has worked with great coaches in his career. Afterall, his first shot at being in a head coaches position was playing against Miami, who happens to be a rival, and it was in a bowl game. That is a hard enough job for even great head coaches.

THATS MY POINT PLAYING AGAINST MIAMI IT SHOULD'NT BE HARD TO GET YOUR PLAYERS TO PLAY! HIS GAME PLAN WHATEVER IT WAS WAS FOR CRAP! I LIKE CHARLIE BUT IT WAS'NT HIS BEST MOMENT. HE NEEDED TO SCORE A WIN FOR HIS CAREER TO POSS. TAKE OFF
