Arkansas AD Frank Broyles wants to move the 2005 game against USC from Little Rock to Fayetteville. Broyles was quoted as saying: "The recent coaching change at South Carolina isn't what led him to the move."
Little Rock's War Memorial Stadium seats 52,727 fans while Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville seats 72,000. It is likely that Mississippi State will play in Little Rock instead of USC.
"It has nothing to do with Steve Spurrier whatsoever," Broyles said. "Not one zilch. Not one-thousandth of one point has it got anything to do with their coach."
Then why the move? Is it because since 1992, Arkansas leads the series in Fayetteville 2-0? Arkansas leads the series in Little Rock 3-1. We can all wonder why Broyles has to move this game, but I don't think he's ever going to tell us. 2006 NFL Pick-em Football Co-National Champion 2006 SECTalk/Yahoo Fantasy Football National Champion 2005 SEC Basketball Pick-Em National Champion WWW.FAIRTAX.ORG |
