SEC Trash Talk This level of success isn't attained without intense competition. This competition inevitably fosters the cruelest rivalries in the land. From inter-SEC schools battling for a symbolic bowl trophy to SEC schools showing other conferences who is the best, fans cannot resist the smack talk that comes with these rivalries. Restrict all trash talk to this forum. No exceptions.

Boy..ole Les probably wishes he would have said this last week.

I'm not really sure I would knock an opponent I had to beat in overtime to be pertinent at the end of the season but whatever floats his boat (if it is true). Someone might need to remind him that his streak against the Cats now stands at one. Pretty soon living off of other coaches' records won't be enough. Although kudos on his Fulmer Cup stats! What would one call that? An immoral victory?

I actually got it from a UK message board. Sadly, I've been trying to track down the conference where he supposedly said it and haven't located it yet.

I mean, Kiffin can be bad. But you have to respect your foe? Especially a guy like Brooks.

I read it was the last thing he said in his UT network interview. Can't tell if it's real or not but a bunch of UT fans on message boards were pretty proud of it apparently. Good for them!

I guess it takes a different kind of fan to be proud of something like that. I know I couldnt handle it if it was my team. Sure, your gonna have fans saying stuff like that but the coach...cmon.

It is what it is. The thing I find mystifying is (again if it is true) where does the guy think he's going to get a job if...er...when this one doesn't work out? Division twelve? He's going to pi$$ off the wrong people and even daddy won't be able to fix it for him.

man thats pretty classless. I didn't hear it, so I can't say if it was true or not. I did hear that some of the Kentucky fans were pretty vile in their language at the start of the games. But hey thats football. I hope it was just emotion and not a calculated attack on them.

Things like that should be expected from Kiffin. He's proven himself classless. But, apart from having no class, the statement is just ridiculous because the team that you walloped 8 of the last 9 years or whatever it is took you to overtime and almost won. That guy can't say a nice thing to anyone I don't think.

I'll hold out some hope it isn't true. Seems a tad over the top.

Kiffin's gotta feed his ego any chance he gets. What a cornhole.

But it was sooo cute when Spurrier was saying crap like that to us for YEARS. Oh, I forgot it's fine when you win a lot. Here's a newsflash folks: class has zero to do with whether or not you win the game.
Regardless, if Kiffin said that then he shouldn't have. I've looked around and haven't seen it though. He did say that UK would have beaten us if the game had been played earlier in the year and that it was like a heavyweight fight out there. He added that he was proud of his team to get through a game like that and come out with a win.
Anyway, I'd rather be talking about a comment from Kiffin anyday than be talking about an end to the streak. 25 and counting. . .
