I went to Troy University and got my Master's there. Not everyone in the state can afford to go to Alabama. I'd venture more than half the Auburn fanbase hasn't even been on Auburn's campus anyway. And we don't need another championship to prove we're back. See 2 SECCG appearances in a row, son. Don't you have some cows to tip somewhere on a Saturday night?

oh no doubt auburn is a much harder school to get into... of course im biased as far as fan bases go but i think most people would agree that bama fans are far more annoying than auburns are.

Because winning 21 regular season games in a row doesn't mean anything. You're right. We're not back. And I'd hardly call last year a beat down. What the heck are we supposed to do against Tebow?! I agree with you, Bama does seem to be on the rise. The "no nfl team syndrome" though does not apply to Auburn. I'm not saying it's detrimental to Bama, hey, it helps you fill a stadium up. Fact is though, most people (by a large margin) who live in Alabama, and have no connection to either school, pick Bama because of the name and "state" tradition.

oh I know what you mean, it happens with every school. Living in Alabama though, the gradient is definitely slanted. I can't blame them. Our state has never really had much to be proud of, and Bama's great football winning history has always been sort of the common native's "up yours" to other states.

I haven't lived in Alabama since I was like 2, but still consider it to be home. I'll take the illiterate and ignorant fans of the two over what I have to deal with down here. And you bite your tongue.. Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Bo Jackson, Bear Bryant. Alabama has everything to be proud of.

Hehe, I don't even want to imagine what you have to deal with down there. As a side note: I saw the bull's costumed mascot for the first time today. Very nice design, one of my favorites. You guys should parade a big ol' bull over the field before each game.

Yeah we (USF) should do a lot of things differently than what currently goes on. Personally I think we should have a live Bull run out onto the field that only sees Zebra stripes and ram them all.

ps. on a seious note i highly doubt the iron bowl will be any sort of beat down considering your offense cant score for sh%^ ....and you have ingram and julio and allllll kinds of talent. but i assume you will win because its bound to be a close game and the refs love to give it to the "better team"
