Wow, you guys really are consisent, aren't you? You try and give a moral victory to a losing team that doesn't have much better days to look forward to yet try and accuse us of claiming a moral victory, which I haven't seen one UT fan do, and ridicule us for it.

Seriously. At least be consistent. If a loss is a loss -- then a win is a win.

Tennessee has a great Defense.....GO MONTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holding a powerful Ohio offense to 24 points is impressive you Vols should be encouraged.

We're not encouraged and we feel no different than we did last week. This is a very below-average team that will not do anything this year and threaten no one except for the bottom-most SEC teams. This reveals nothing we didn't already know.

I really want to know what he'll have to say to recruits now?

"I told you we were on our way up. Did you see what we did to Ohio?"

He's just going to tell them we had the flu and Ohio wasn't really trying to win the game.

Hahaha. Yeah, I'll do that. And I'll ask him why he fired Mike Shanahan while I'm at it.

But Meyer never lies right? Just ask Jevan Snead.

You guys are #1 in graduation rates too, huh?

You guys want to piss and moan about Kiffin calling your recruits? What about Urban Meyer having Patrick Johnson's test scores flagged after he decided to sign elsewhere?

Lying flat-out to Daryl Stonum about talking to the Michigan coaches and them saying he wouldn't fit in their offense?

Lying to Terrence Tolliver about LSU's academics and saying they don't qualify their players. These are 17 year-old kids you guys are yanking around and confusing with your negative recruiting. TT isn't the only one to say publicly that he didn't choose Florida due to negative recruiting.

You guys want to talk about Nu'keese and how Kiffin told him to keep his commitment to UT secret, what about Omar Hunter whom Meyer told to lie to his parents and his coaches? Lying to his face about Mattison staying with the team when he was already headed to Baltimore?

Negative recruiting kept Justin Trattou from going to Notre Dame. Well, that and the same lie told to Omar about Mattison's future with the program.

Yeah, you have PLENTY of room to talk about another coach lying.

Uuummm, are you the only SEC fan or member of the forum who missed the thread awhile back where Snead actually admitted he had lied/exaggerated about Meyer, and retracted his comments? Meyer never told Snead UF was recruiting Tebow as a LB, or any other position... complete BS, and Snead finally admitted it.

According to the book "Meat Market: Inside the Smash-Mouth World of College Football Recruiting," Meyer tried to convince Snead that Florida was recruiting Tebow as a linebacker, but Snead didn't believe it and decided to bail on the Gators.

"That's all in the past," Snead said. "I'm just looking forward to the future and looking forward to going into The Swamp and playing."

Meyer denied the book's version, saying he never told anyone he was recruiting last year's Heisman Trophy winner to play defense or any other position.

"That came out in a book?" Meyer said. "If that came out, that's not true. Did he say me or did he say 'some coach?' No. Of course that's not true."

Meyer later said a lot of stories get thrown around in recruiting, indicating how this rumor might have gotten started back then.

"You have children? I have 18-year-olds, and that's what it is," Meyer said. "I heard this and she said this and my girlfriend said this. That's fine. ... Does it drive you insane? Yeah. That's part of the deal."

Meyer said earlier this week that he never said that to Snead. Snead said he's not sure it ever happened, either. "I don't even remember, it's been so long.".

That's so stupid... nobody in their right mind would believe that Meyer was recruiting the nation's #1 rated dual-threat QB, who just finished his high school career with about 10,000 passing yards, 3,000 rushing yards, 95 passing TD's, and 62 rushing TD's as a LB. Also, I'm quite certain even Meyer doesn't think anybody, including Snead, would have been dumb enough to fall for that... the whole story is ludicrous.

That didn't happen, either, and you d**n well know it. As much as you talk about recruiting, I'm sure you know that coaches can't have scores flagged. If a kid's score has a drastic change between 2 tests, it's automatically flagged; and that exactly what happened with PJ.

See, that's why everybody is giving you such a hard time, and few respect your opinion anymore... because you knowingly use false and caustic accusations and events to make your lame points.
