yall are right, newton would be huge and i hope we get him...but im not going to be upset if we are "stuck" with russell...even without ever stepping foot on a college field, he is the best QB we have had in years and he is already on the team...if we get newton, great....if not, bring on russell and ill cheer for #17 for the next 4 years...

i hope you're right cormac but i doubt newton and russell split time...newton isnt the best passer ever but he is still above average...whoever plays, we'll have a legit QB for the first time in years...
