Default Russell Sheppard Transferring? (UPDATE)
There has been alot of talk on tigerdroppings about Sheppard leaving. Someone over there is friends with him on facebook and said his status was "Let's pray I don't make the biggest mistake of my life." Now that could mean anything. If he does leave I will be calling for Miles' fire on the spot.

He should come to Mississippi State. I really think this guy is the next big thing in college football if utilized correctly like Tebow in Meyer's offense. Les Miles isn't going to do much with him, however.

He can't throw. He'll be a faster Kodi Burns.

His high school video and all american game. And don't get defensive, it's not like you're going to get him anyway.

He should come to State, but I don't see Les Miles okaying a transfer to a division rival.

Can they really fire Miles? Doesn't he have nearly a $19 million buyout?

Probably one of the biggest mysteries of the season at LSU is why this young man is not getting the PT. It would be one thing if he still had his redshirt on his back, but that's not the case. I have heard over and over that Miles is really funny about players that can't hold on to the ball, and Shepphard has definitely had problems just about every game he has played in holding on to the ball. But it really doesn't make sense, when you think about him keeping Lee in there last year game after game throwing the INTs for six over and over again. I've heard from different people around the program, not media, saying that, after the poor showing of JJ, Sheppard is being considered as a possible starter for the Auburn game, and that Miles is considering that ole "alternating the QBs" circus. All I know is, this offense needs a major jump start, and if JJ can't get it going, let's give Shep the opportunity to show his stuff more than just a couple a plays here and there. But I still think, Miles has it in his head that Shep is too big of a fumble risk. We shall see. He would be foolish to transfer, but I understand he was probably promised the cruise ship and the island before he came.

If he had to choose a school to transfer though, Wouldn't he fit perfect at either Mississippi State or Tennesse. Although i'm sure Tennesse already has top notch quarterbacks recruited
