Yeah it's rumour Kouandjio is higher on our board, but we'll see how that shakes out. I haven't seen much to indicate Robinson and Coleman would be a package deal and I'm not sure if they want to play together. I'd take Kouandjio over Robinson though, just because he looks like he'll have a smoother transition to the next level.

It is truly down to five from what I hear.

1.) Alabama
2.) Miss State
3.) Tenn
4.) LSU
5.) Auburn

Just what I have been getting from talking to some sources (I know we all hate the word sources).

Alabama is the team to beat thanks to some coaching push and simply a great program. However, they seem to be slow playing a little bit and Dan Mullen has really turned it up. Heard he is a bit tired of people trying to compare him and Coleman and is definitely not set on following his teamate and vice versa.

Predictions:

Coleman: Alabama
Robinson: MSU

Great pickups for both.
So correct me if I'm wrong, but you're already congratulating Alabama for a "pick-up" that is currently committed to another team?

I understand his recruitment isn't over and all, but that seems grossly premature. Just sayin..

Not congratulating by any means. Just going with what I have heard from some people and what my gut says.

Its simply a prediction.

on that note:

CONGRATULATIONS to any team that gets him. Is that better?

Yep, I deem this to be acceptable.

Carry on.

Yeah, they have no plans on playing together and I'd say that's not likely to happen. Shon has seen his stock shoot up, while Robinson has seen his drop. I think LSU may be recruiting him the hardest at this point.

There's a rumor out there that Bama told him he'd be a guard there (which is true most everywhere IMO) and he didn't like that because he wants to play tackle. Not sure how true that is, but I've heard the rumor in a couple of different places.

After turning down a commitment from TJ Leifheit, I don't see Tennessee going after Robinson that hard. We'll see though.

I knew as soon as I saw him jump so high in position ranking that this was going to happen. Oh well, here's to hoping he stays.

The jump in ranking was in response to the way he's played this year which is what increased his appeal to coaches. Not many coaches that like their jobs recruit off of Rivals rankings.

Not that you were saying that. Just a commentary.

Rivals is so biased its scary. It seems like when you commit to bama or auburn you get an extra star.

Are you kidding? Auburn doesn't get any help from rivals. If anything, they do the opposite of what you are suggesting for us.

No I wasn't saying that at all, do ya take me as a dummy or somethin?

But playing well and raising your profile changes things, me actually seeing him jump that high in the rankings just helped the uneasiness.

Not to make you even more uneasy, but Shon is going to take a visit to UT I've learned.

sabanochio i find it hilarious that u think this guy is gonna change his choice to bama..can he change his mind? sure he is a kid. will he change his mind? doubt it. do u have a reason other than he visits bama? lots of commits do it. why do i think he is a sure fire sign. howabout ed christian, chad slade, and one of the best 3 rb in the country...if not 2 of them. also tyrik rollison is a kid that will enhance a offensive lines play. i do love the fact u bammers are talking about au recruits though. i couldnt tell u the first bama recruit because i dont care lol. however i do recall an ex bammer commit that turned au
