Hey, Sabo!! You do realize Elam isn't the only safety currently committed to Florida, right? Aside from Elam, 4-star safeties Dorsey and Haden are also committed to UF...that, and the fact that we will return no fewer than 6 safeties from the current roster leads me to believe that the reason we aren't recruiting any more safeties is because it doesn't appear to be a position of need...file that under the "no-shiat" category.

However, I have it on good authority that we are still currently talking with another safety...whether the Gators take his commitment or not will likely have more to do with need...and little to do with what Elam wants. Besides...as long as Elam is taking visits, I would certainly be talking to other safeties...wouldn't you?

So your story changes, huh? First off, yes I know that Dorsey is committed there and he is a S all the way. Haden could play corner and I guarantee you that's where they told Elam he is going to play. When I said "any more safeties" I meant that literally: "any more." as in, no additional.

It's funny that now you are claiming safety is not a position of need when before your argument was:

Who knows is everyone that follows Riley. He's going to USC. It's really funny that you contradict yourself in one post though, GH. I mean, you can't give me better ammunition than that!

"We don't need safeties, but we're talking to one." Give me a break, dude.

And if you're talking about Jefferson, you're wrong. He's not visiting Florida. Any guess as to why?

Urban has found himself in a predicament of sorts, not entirely his fault though, it's really all Elam. He told Elam he wouldn't recruit any more safeties in this class, but Elam is still allowing himself to be recruited and is still taking visits. He's trying to cover his bases with Jefferson, but he can't give the appearances that he is recruiting him because of his promise to Elam.

It's really funny that just the other day, Mike Farrell had this to say about Jefferson:

Quote:
-Do you feel that Florida has a chance with any other California prospect? (Josh Shaw, Chris Martin, Kenny Stills, Tony Jefferson, Dietrich Riley, etc) They could get Jefferson if they wanted him but they aren't going to go on him due to Elam I hear. Shaw they have an outside shot, I don't see Martin anyplace but ND, Stills I think they could get if they pushed harder and Riley is all USC I hear.

It's really funny that just the other day, Mike Farrell had this to say about Jefferson:
The statements in BOLD are pure speculative BS conjured up by a guy that has way too much time on his hands...Sabo. You're speculation on what Meyer told Elam regarding Haden is laughable...as is your speculation that Meyer is not recruiting any more safeties at the urging of a 18 y/o HS student who is currently taking visits to other schools.

My story hasn't changed at all...I heard a few weeks ago that Meyer planned on taking 2 more safeties including Elam. I have wondered why we are recruiting safeties with 6-7 returning...however, I was just reporting what I'd heard. The truth is...if we didn't sign another...the Gators would be extremely deep at safety...forget that Will Hill, Dee Finley, Ahmad Black, Adrian Bushell and Major Wright will be fighting for the 2 spots...whoever signs, won't see the field for a year or two anyway. It's just not a position of need. I don't think there's anything to worry about with Elam...and like I said, we got 2 others that are solid. As far as the "one" that is being courted...you honestly have no idea...so don't speculate further. Your posts are nothing more than speculation with a few plagiarized "thoughts" from experts you read on Rivals...so, piss on someone else's back and tell 'em it's raining.

Now...speculate all you want...we'll see who has the last laugh on NSD. Funny thing is...with what I'm hearing...as of today...I hope you like crow.

If you land one more safety, you will lose Elam. I promise you that. You can call it speculation or whatever you want. It's what will happen.

It's so funny that everything goes exactly like I say it will, yet you still cannot admit that you were wrong. It will continue to go that way too.

Florida told Elam they wouldn't recruit any more safeties. It's what happened. I know it, because I heard it from someone that has a connection to the program. This guy also says you guys are going to land Shaw, Powell, and that Sharrif Floyd is not going to Florida. He also says OSU has the best chance of pulling Elam from Florida and concedes that Luc to Tennessee is the most likely scenario. Much more objective Florida fan than any we have on here.

You don't have to worry about me pissing on your back, I have a restroom of my own.

One thing you need to learn about recruiting, is you will miss on some things and I promise you, you won't get them all right. Recruiting is a business that will make you eventually check your ego at the door and that day for you, will happen at some point, IMO.

Actually Sabo, Haden is closer to a LB than a CB. He's already right at or near 200lbs.

That Florida fan, is getting that info from a Gator insider (one of those Insider's is a personal friend of mine) and he has some correct but, I don't think he's accurate on Floyd because, there are some things that are still working to Florida's advantage that I promise you know nothing about.

Elam is all Gator.

It's not over for Luc. FSU is a huge threat.

I don't need to learn anything about recruiting, bud. Certainly not from you. You're not going to tell me anything I don't already know. If you'd read my posts you'd know that I have said several times that it's impossible to be completely accurate on this stuff and you will get some and miss others. That's why I try to be sure of my info before I post.

You don't know where this guy gets his info from. I actually had a back and forth with him about Floyd (I thought he was going to Florida) and he assured me that OSU has the best shot at him several times.

We'll see if he's right. Really good dude. Very objective and you might find it strange but he says the same about my info. Wish posters around here were more like that. Not only is everything biased with you people, but due to that fact, you project the same bias on everyone else whether it's there or not.

FSU is out of it for Luc, bud. Has been for a LOOONG time now. Wherever you are getting that it is totally 100% wrong. It's UT right now, with an outside chance that Florida steals him away. If he was an EE, I'd be more certain that he was going to be a Vol. Due to the fact that he is likely not going to make it, it's going to be more difficult to hang onto a commitment. Especially a silent one.

Dude...your a so full of crap, your eyes have to be brown.

You have been wrong soooo many times...my gosh, last year alone. You have no credibility...and I doubt very seriously you have a Florida Insider feeding you info...a Gator giving a Vol fan inside information...that's total BS, I don't care what you say...and what has gone exactly as you've said???? NOTHING!! You've speculated about everything but none of it has been proven accurate.

I know you're the king in your little world of recruiting, but give me a break with the delusions of grandeur.

What are you talking about? Did someone piss in your cheerios, GH? The wife bitch at you this morning? Dog chewed your slippers? Come on. You can tell us what it is. Is it just that time of the month for you?

Point out when I have been "wrong sooo many times." Give me 5 examples. Do it. I bet you can't, because you're making it up. I don't know why you are in such a foul mood this morning, but don't take it out on me by making up lies. You're a moderator. Start acting like one.

I had an egg and a slice of toast...no cheerios. My wife doesn't have to work...and is spending the day shopping with her friends...so, I never hear a negative peep out of her. I'm about to take my son to the park...I'm as happy as a lark. I just get tired of reading your BS...and you've been wrong a lot...you're wrong right now, you may not know it, but you are. I don't have time to dig up the countless incorrect statements of your past...and speaking of making up lies, you say in one sentence that a player is a "done deal"...and in the other you contradict yourself...you're full of it, you know it...and so do I. Let's just leave it at that.

As far as acting like a moderator...I've been one for 5 years, I'm pretty sure I've got it down. Just because I have that title, doesn't mean I can't disagree with the likes of you.

Funny that you can throw around baseless accusations and call everything I say speculation but you can't back up a claim as simple as "you've been wrong so many times."

If you can't back it up, then don't say it, and I'll save you the trouble, you won't be able to back it up.

I never said anyone was a done deal. How many times do I have to explain it to you? Why is it so difficult a concept for you to grasp? I said that Luc gave a silent commit and then followed it up with Luc to Tennessee is done. Now anyone with a modicum of common sense knows that Luc didn't enroll in school, nor is signing day in November. So why in the hell would you think I intended anything other than Luc has given a commitment? I said before it and since that it wouldn't be over for Luc until he either enrolled or signed an LOI.

Why do I feel like I'm trying to teach a 4 year old quantum physics here?
