Ah, Recruiting, Everyone wants to talk about recruiting.
If you don't think Kiffin isn't promising PT, go ask Chaz Green. You know all this but, to no ones surprise, you're denying it.
Again, you can have Jeff Luc. Sure Florida wants him but, I think Jordan Hicks is the better prospect and the concern among some people out there is that Luc has maxed physically and there is no ceiling for him. Meanwhile, Jordan Hicks has a tremendous high ceiling and is going to be a stud!
I never said you were crazy about Luc. So, don't go putting words in my mouth.
Everyone in the country that follows recruiting knows Jones' ties to FSU. They run very deep and if you think FSU is going to just give up on him, you're sadly mistaken. They can get just as dirty as Tennessee.
Dude, you're speculating. Chaz Green has never said anything about being promised playing time. Prove it or shut it. It doesn't happen here I can promise you. Kiffin does NOT promise anyone playing time. Again, that's why Cameron Newton is going to end up at MSU and not UT. We don't do it. You get more out of an open competition and it's been public knowledge since Kiffin has been here that there is an open competition at every position. You are just trying to make excuses for being out-recruited. Like I said, get used to it. It will keep happening. Why would Kiffin tell anyone that when it's already in the press and everywhere else that he is holding open competitions at every position? That would just look stupid -- kind of like you are looking right now. No one would believe it.
I said YOU GUYS meaning you Florida fans and you all were laughing when I first started talking about Jeff Luc and Tennessee. If you weren't you were the only one. Mos Def even tried to bait me into an argument over it.
I like Jordan Hicks better than Luc too, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't take both of them. Throwing Hicks out there as a reason to not be upset about Luc is stupid and transparent.
BTW, last thing I posted on that SECF site was about Bryce Brown. I called that about a month before anyone else knew about it too.

Again, I can prove to you that Meyer has out recruited Kiffin for more prospects so, your argument that Florida is getting out recruited, is weak and baseless. When you start beating Florida out for more than 1 or 2 players, then come back and gloat.
There is only 1 player 1, that Florida would want that is committed to Tennessee and well as you can see, Tennessee has unsuccessfully tried to raid Florida's commits.

I heard soon, but as I indicated, his parents will have to visit Knoxville first thus no, I didn't expect it to happen by now. I know that Luc nearly committed on his trip according to one person I talk to and that's what led him to believe a commitment may come soon. The problem is financial at this point. Luc has used his official visit already so they would have to finance the visit themselves. They are pricing cheap fares from Lauderdale so you should see a visit happen. I'll keep you all abreast of the situation.

He didn't make it to Knoxville for his scheduled but unofficial visit, did he? The visit YOU said would have to take place before his folks would sign off on a commitment to UT. You are actually right about that part... we know several people who talk to Luc and his family weekly; and he will not commit to any school that his parents haven't visited personally.
He may end up at UT, as I'm sure lots of kids respect Monte, even though they just dismiss Lane as a clown and a liar. But, a lot more has to happen with Luc and his family before you can count this one "in the bag".

I just said they made it up for the SC game and liked it. That was the whole reason for the bump.
His parents haven't made it up to Knoxville, no. They didn't have to. I thought they would have, but obviously I was wrong. That's the best way possible to be wrong, so I'll take it.
Not sure why you guys are so fixated on it. Nothing surprises me with Gator homers on here though.

You get on here...post something pro-Vol...however, when something goes wrong...you sugarcoat it. Heaven forbid someone call you out or have a contrasting view...you immediately run out and start a thread to disparage their team...I find it funny that a grown man (you are a grown man, right?) gets so worked up over this stuff.
BTW...you're asking for some serious ribbing after NSD by calling players "locks"...one player in particular...no player is ever a lock until that LOI is received.
personally i believe sabo, and i dont really like him that much, but the reason alot of his stuff is pro vol is beacuse thats the team he hears the most about.... you dont need to discredit someone you know nothing about. everyone is wrong sometimes even people with inside info, you have no proof one way or another that he does or doesnt have inside info.... so stop getting into an internet fight... everyone involved always loses....
