Your post would be funny if Kiffin had not already used this philosophy with success. David Oku, JerQuari Schofield, Greg King. The fact that you think Florida is "Brad Pitt" and UT is "Howdy Doody" just goes to show you how deluded you are. First no one wants to hire UT coaches, (certainly not LSU at over $200,000 more for Orgeron after he agreed to UT) now this. Ah, you Gators never cease to amaze with your conceit and delusion.

You can jest all you want. Watch what happens. I will be sure and rub it in your smug faces when it does.
Yea...we're wooden blocks and UT is a transformer....

Wooden blocks=#1 in the Country...National Champs...SEC Champs...

Transformer=4-4

If I remember correctly...the last time we "waited to see what happens"...you ended up leaving the site for a few months.

Then you don't remember correctly. I left the site for almost 8 months and if BFNKY were still posting, I never would have returned. Not sure what you are "remembering" but it had nothing to do with my departure.

Wooden blocks and Transformers, huh? I must admit, it's been awhile since I was a toy aficionado; but I do have a new niece that I've had to shop for recently. Let's see, if I remember correctly, Transformers are some lame fad toy, and blocks have been around for thousands of years because they TEACH kids something.

So, I guess your analogy is fitting, and explains why my sister bought blocks instead of Transformers... she wants her daughter to have a head start on her future.

And, if

Blocks = SECC, NC, and a 13-1 record followed by an 8-0 record

And, if

Transformer = No Bowl game, and a 5-7 record followed by a 4-4 record

Then thanks for the shiny new toy offer, but I think I'll stick with blocks.

I suspect that's what a lot of the prospects are thinking, too. I can either have promises or proven.

im just saying, if i wanted acting lessions i would want brad pitt to teach me. One Million times over howdy doody.

IMO (thanks FG for telling me that abv. ) if you cross out the recruiting war with prospect like Luc Elam Riley ect... and spilt it 50-50 with tenn and florida. The Fact that Florida is going after Higher rank Recruits that makes me believe they have a higher % on winning. Can florida land all thoses recruits? HECK NO. but the recruits florida are looking at seem to be better ranked.

Tenn should be proud. I heard on ESPN corey miller is a beast. so tenn will be fine.

BUT.... its all IMO Florida > Tenn This Year that is.

I even heard maybe the most absurd thing I've ever heard about any recruiting situation EVER. Get this; this is actually somebody's theory... I'm not making this up:

Somebody, on another site, suggested that Kiffin probably told Luc to take another visit (the one to Gainesville this weekend) to Florida to make sure he wants to go to UT. Said there's no better way to secure a commitment.

Can you believe that utter BS? Yeah, in order to secure one of my top prospect's commitment, I'm going to send him back to my enemy and the other program that has the best chance of taking him from me. Is that not the stupidest thing you've ever read? And, this visit wouldn't even be Luc's last visit to UF anyway... his official visit to us is his last one, and it's the FSU game in the Swamp. It'll be Tebow and Spikes' last home game; and there'll be about 35 or 40 of the best players in the nation visiting for it.

For future reference, folks, DO NOT employ this strategy with your old lady. If you look like Howdy Doody, do not send your sweetie over to Brad Pitt's place to make sure she knows what she wants... she won't be coming back.;)
Do you think we look like Howdy Doody to recruits? I'm sure you don't and if push came to shove, you might even admit that UT is attracting attention from the top prospects in the country. While we might not finish with the top class, we are presently more than holding our own against the uh. . .Brad Pitt's of the college football world. Other than that incredibly odd analogy, I agree with you.

Hey, you won't hear me say UT isn't doing a great job on the recruiting trail... I just don't agree with Sabo's overly optimistic take on the situation. About half (10) of UT's current class are 3* guys; and there's nothing wrong with that, except UF currently only has 5 3* players. I'll clarify it this way...

Of the Top 150 players in the country,

Florida has #'s - 8, 11, 13, 17, 22, 32, 47, 67, 70
Tennessee has #'s - 39, 48, 100, 136, 140

You have a great class... just not Sabo great.

That's ESPN ranking, I suppose. Rivals rankings look a bit better for us. And we're in with a bunch more of the top guys as you well know. Like I said, I agree with some of what you say, but you just maybe got a little carried away with the analogy.

EPSN rankings? Hahahaha. What a joke. Those rankings are terrible. There's no way anyone would use them unless they were overly favorable to their team such is the case here. We are ahead of Florida in recruiting right now on every site that isn't worthless.

Top 150 players. What a joke. That list has never been worth a sh*t.

Sabo, all i said is that Florida will have a better class than Tennessee. That is an absolute fact.

Anyway, I've tried to be civil with you about all this but, since you want to neg rep me for stating what I know to be a fact, I'm done trying that.

Until Jeff Luc's mother visits Tennessee, you can keep on dreaming about Luc. She will have a major say so about all this. You don't know as much as you think and if you are in the know, You'd know that he would be at Miami but, his mother won't let him for reasons I doubt you know nothing about without having to do research.

So, I've got news for you, I know more than you think I do. You will see that in the coming weeks.

His his mom will have to approve before he goes to Tennessee and right now, that's not going to happen until she visits, IMO.

You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Luc's parents have already signed off on UT.
