Default Keenan Allen nearing decision
Ath Keenan Allen seems to have come to a decision that should go public pretty soon between Oregon and Alabama

Per ESPN:

ESPNU 150 athlete Keenan Allen expected to select Alabama
According to ESPN affiliate Web site DuckTerritory.com, Keenan Allen (Greensboro, N.C./Northern Guilford) is likely headed to Alabama. Oregon lost the fierce battle for Allen, the nation's No. 89-rated prospect.

Duckterritory.com has learned through close sources that Keenan Allen, one of the top Oregon targets will likely be headed to Alabama. It was a close battle between the two schools. It would appear that Allen has always liked Oregon while his father has been high on Bama. Allen himself has not officially declared his commitment, but it seems almost certain that he will. Keenan Allen is an exceptional athlete, and great young man, and would make any football program better. Stay tuned as this situation seems to be nearing it’s end..

Its possible that he may wait until after his official with Bama to announce.

Keenan is a Rivals.com 5 star and #8 overall. Scout.com and ESPN.com 4 star.

Also, while Gabe King has recently named Oregon and Cal his 2 favorites with Bama right behind, many close to the situation say that Keenan's decision may really pull Gabe to follow him to Bama where he is recruited as a Jack. Gabe has been ruled ineligible in the state of NC to play HS football this year, and has recently moved to Oregon to his family. So I'd say Oregon is the current favorite (especially after the beatdown of Cal), but his family only got an apartment and the move supposedly doesn't lock him in to Oregon.

Allen has been a Bama lock for some time. He's a helluva pickup.

Some say even a silent commit.

Whenever there is negative news on the Alabama recruiting front, Coach Saban always allows a commit to announce. I'm serious when I say he uses recruiting as a game of chess...it's very impressive stuff.
