SEC Recruiting
Ah, Recruiting, Everyone wants to talk about recruiting.
The 5* defensive tackle from Lakeland decided to join all his high school teammates and play for the Florida Gators. Now we understand the Heyward decision. Congrats to THE recruiters, Urban Meyer and Charlie Strong.

I had heard there are academic concerns with him. Is that true or just wishful thinking on the part of those that will have to play against him. Nice pick up, not that you needed another one. I think we need to start imposing a * tax on the Gators. Unbelievable class!

Not sure about the grade situation. He just took the SAT's. Normally, Meyer won't sign a player he thinks can't qualify. So, I'm confident he will. If not, he'll be a sign and place, and we won't get to see him until '08. In any event, those with the wishful thinking will have to face him sooner or later.
Brown has really worked his butt off trying to get qualified.....I've heard he is extremely close...and I've heard he won't. Either way, you have to take a guy of this caliber, regardless. Most "experts" agree, if Brown hadn't played on a team with so many 4 and 5 star players, he would've likely been the #1 player out of Florida and the #1 DT in the Nation...the kid is a freak!
I've heard that if he gets his SAT score up, he'll likely qualify...we'll see.
Either way, I think that's 9 Five Star players for the Gators!!!!

Yeah, usually that's the case, but when you have all of these great players tripping over themselves to sign with Florida, you really have to roll the dice on some kids....
