SEC Football Talk Little doubt remains of which football conference is truly the best. Will the SEC win an unprecedented fifth straight BCS title? Who will face off in Atlanta this December? Will another one of our own once again capture the prestigious Heisman Trophy? Talk about it all here.

This forum is for SEC Football talk only, not for recruiting, NFL, or non-SEC college football discussion.

It won't finish in that order, some will be higher ranked, some lower, one or two the same. That's my prediction.

Auburn's not ranked but Uconn is? Tennessee receiving any votes is a joke.

This isn't a prediction of FINAL rankings, just a guess as to what the actual preseason AP rankings will be

Ole Miss not being one of the 'others recieving votes' seems wrong, especially with UT being on that list

No offense to the Vols...

1. Iowa is a solid team. Maybe not that high, but they will be a force in the Big 10 this year.
2. Auburn and Ole Miss have done about as much as USC in regards to justifying a preseason ranking. Not very much.
3. UConn can thank Notre Dame and USC for their #25 ranking
4. Oregon......well, they do have LaMichael James

#1 is legit.

Everything that comes after that is baseless and nothing more than a guess.

Ah! Well, then it's even more meaningless!

Anywho...I think most Ole Miss dissers are doing so because they have no proven guy coming back at QB.

And in what world can UGA go from 64th to 23rd without playing a single game. Doesn't this guy know they are the most overrated program in the history of college football and doomed to go 7-5. That alone removes all credibility from this list.

#1 may be the only one he got correct..Oregon without Misoli aren't that good, Texas is changing offenses with a new QB, Oklahoma is an easy top 10, where is Auburn and Carolina they're easy top 25? After losing their coach and the smack down the gaytors put on Cincy I don't see them being all that this year either.

All of the above are the primary reasons they actually play the games.
