SEC Football Talk Little doubt remains of which football conference is truly the best. Will the SEC win an unprecedented fifth straight BCS title? Who will face off in Atlanta this December? Will another one of our own once again capture the prestigious Heisman Trophy? Talk about it all here.

This forum is for SEC Football talk only, not for recruiting, NFL, or non-SEC college football discussion.

Geogia With Meyer Gone, Its Time For Georgia's Richt To Put Up or Pack Up
If the news of Urban Meyer's departure sent a gasp of disbelief through the Gator Nation, it should have sent a sigh of relief to Mark Richt.

Not that Richt is happy to see a fellow coach step down in the face of physical problems, which I know he's not, but this could be the break that Richt has been lacking since Urban Meyer laid claim to the SEC East.

Now Mark Richt has a shot to lay claim to the SEC East for himself and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Should be interesting. Hopefully he can open the series against his new rival head coach with a win - which would also be a good way to start a new decade.

Did you create an article for every SEC school regarding this subject?

You should expand it to the entire NCAA next. It should be easy, "With Meyer gone, will Coach A do Scenario X."

It writes itself.

Thanks to TNCheckeredBoards for the sig!
