Default Bowl Game or Opponent?
We have 7 teams either 8-4 or 7-5 which means the bowl selection committees will have to make some tough decisions on how to give their bowl bids. With that being said, what would you prefer for your team, the better bowl or a better opponent? For example, someone could go to the Outback Bowl and play a Big 10 team like Northwestern or Wisconsin, or go to the Peach Bowl and play a team like Miami, or the GT/Clemson loser. What would you rather see?

Whichever one we win is the one I'll be happy about.

We can play a high school as long as the game isn't in Memphis or Birmingham.

LSU is 9-3, so there are only 7 teams that are 8-4/7-5.

That said, I care more about the opponent as long as it's a bowl game no worse than the chic-fil-a bowl.

I have to say opponent. I would MUCH rather play a big time program with history and tradition such as FSU, Miami, Clemson, Penn State, Oklahoma, Nebraska, rather than a bad team wit a good record like Iowa, Boston College, or Northwestern.

Obviously the bowl game. I'd be happy to play Oklahoma in the NC... Even though they obviously will never win.

I think he's just putting himself in the place of the decision maker

Then why do we play the games? If tradition and history make for a better team let's just stop worrying about records all together.
