SEC Football Talk Little doubt remains of which football conference is truly the best. Will the SEC win an unprecedented fifth straight BCS title? Who will face off in Atlanta this December? Will another one of our own once again capture the prestigious Heisman Trophy? Talk about it all here.

This forum is for SEC Football talk only, not for recruiting, NFL, or non-SEC college football discussion.

Olemiss houston we have a problem
HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM AND IT IS NAMED SNEAD! THIS WEEKEND'S GAME AGAINST THE DAWGS WAS DISGUSTING! I WAS SO EXCITED AND PUMPED AFTER BEATING UT AND LSU AND WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE BOWL GAME. STATE OUTPLAYED US THE ENTIRE GAME. OUR DEFENSE DIDN'T SHOW UP AND SNEAD WAS HIS USUAL INCOMPETENT, INCONSISTENT SELF! I HOPE NUTT GETYS US A QB FOR NEXT YEAR BECAUSE WE'LL HAVE ANOTHER DISAPPOINTING SEASON IF WE KEEP SNEAD AS OUR STARTER. WE PUT IN AN ORDER FOR BOWL TICKETS, BUT NOW I'M NOT SURE I WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY TO WATCH OUR TEAM PLAY LIKE THEY DID YESTERDAY. DEXTER WILL BE MISSED AND HARD TO REPLACE! I LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING HIM PLAY ON SUNDAYS!

Just calm down sir.

Snead only threw three interceptions and I think only two were his fault. One was a tipped ball INT. But admittedly, the other two were just terrible.

Nutt's not going to replace him though, I'm sure of that.

His problem is that they lose McCluster, Shay Hodge, and most of their offensive line. 18 of their 22 starters are seniors, so I can see his concern.

Yes but weren't they supposed to win the West?

losing that O-Line might not be a bad thing.

8-4 is not a baby step. That is motionless after last year with the entire team returning.

SEC record actually went from 5-3 to 4-4. Picked up two wins against FCS foes.

Compare our losses from last year to our losses this year. Last year we played much better and our losses were all close, within a TD if I remember correctly. This year Bama blew us away and we lost a games we should have won to SC and Auburn and we ended the season with an embarrassing display in the Egg Bowl. This year the best team we beat was LSU. Last year we beat Florida. Does that not look to you like we're going backwards?

Warning, Warning: gotpups4 is a state fan....Warning

The loss on O-line and Snead playing for himself and not the team has been devastating in a year we were hopeful to have 10 wins. I agree fully with Mugg though, Ole Miss has never had a history of greatness (except in the 60's), so to have back to back 8 win seasons is a good start here in Oxford. Disappointing, yes, disastrous, no. Next year we will be lucky to get as many wins, but hopefully Nutt will start Stanley, so we can experience the growing pains next year

Geez seriously dude get the hell out of here, yeah it sucked. You are the most embarrassing Ole Miss fan on this site. Yeah 8-4 sucks I was hoping for much better, but it is just a game. If your happiness depends on the success of a bunch of strangers you will most likely never know, than I truly fell sorry for you.
yeah I was disappointed, yeah Snead sucks but geez what kind of fan are you. I've heard you praising state and other programs far more than I have ever heard you praise Ole Miss. I'm a true fan, I support my team in the good and bad. You sir are a fair weather fan, and no Ole Miss fan has any time for you.
Seriously leave this forum please.
