| If you're trying to prove Mallett is the best you're wasting your time. He has the best stats. Best QB overall? Who i'd take to have in a SECCG? Tebow all day. But best stat wise. Mallett definitely | ||

| It's still Tebow. Passing is graded by efficiency. The rankings look like this: Passing 1. Ryan Mallett, Arkansas 193 328 3198 58.8 9.8 28 6 22 165.25 2. Tim Tebow, Florida 145 223 1945 65.0 8.7 14 4 23 155.42 3. Chris Todd, Auburn 163 272 2196 59.9 8.1 19 5 15 147.12 4. Joe Cox, Georgia 162 289 2350 56.1 8.1 21 14 10 138.65 5. Greg McElroy, Alabama 159 265 1993 60.0 7.5 14 4 9 137.59 6. Jordan Jefferson, LSU 152 247 1785 61.5 7.2 14 5 28 136.90 7. Jonathan Crompton, Tennessee 196 335 2345 58.5 7.0 25 11 11 135.37 8. Chris Todd Auburn SR QB 11 -98 YRD's 0 TD's Even with diminished passing numbers, Tebow is clearly still the best QB in the SEC. Tebow doesn't get penalized simply because UF coaches decided they had better RB's than WR's this year, and decided to rush the ball more. We've all seen what kind of passing numbers Tebow puts up when asked. Throw in who is the best at leading and inspiring his team, and this one isn't even close. I like Mallet, but those temper tantrums need to go... that kind of temperment won't take a QB very far. | ||

3170 is the number of yards Mallett has when you add his passing and rushing together. And Mallett has more touchdowns. And like you said, passing is graded on efficiency, another category Mallett leads. Leadership is not a statistical category. | ||

| Mallet is the best statistical QB and maybe the best, but If I'm startin a new team and I get to take the best players from all the other teams and put them on mine, I'm taking Tebow at QB. Basically it's like comparing Peyton Manning and Drew Brees... Drew has better everything on paper but If I had to have one quarterback lead my team down the field when I need it I'm taking Peyton Manning all day. Actually that comparison sucked but I'm comparing Leadership and stats.. Along with agreement, for some reason you can say "I would have to take Peyton Manning. Why? I don't know but there's just somethin about him I tell you what..." | ||

| Is the Heisman awarded to great leaders, or the people with the stats? I know this is off topic but I just think its funny that Tebow won the Heisman in 2007 with his stats, not leadership (9-4) and now that he doesn't have the stats, him being a great leader makes up for that? Tebow is the best in the SEC, but I am just confused as to how he is still a top Heisman contender And I am sure the stats he does have, have nothing to do with having the best O-line in the country......they need to get more credit that they are getting IMO. But still, you can't find a better leader in the country right now | ||
