Tennessee Kiffin Exposed As A Liar! Let's See Him Explain The "Other Arrestee"
We've all heard the story about the thee players arrested for their part in an attempted gun wielding robbery attempt. We all heard how Kiffin had just spoken hours before the incident and proclaimed how there had been no such incidents.

We finally heard his explanation and how proud he was that they went "Eleven months and eleven days without an incident."

Our hearts went out to him as we felt this could have happened anywhere and we were willing to give him a pass since nothing else had transpired like he told us repeatedly.

But today word came out that this was indeed NOT the first incident.

For the rest of this story go to: Kiffin Exposed As A Liar! Let's See Him Explain The "Other Arrestee" | Bleacher Report

Sorry, but I wouldn't trust the Bleacher Report if it said that the sun came up this morning.

It was written by me, who is also in Rivals, Scout, Fox Sports and CBS Sports and a credentialed sports writer for the University of Alabama and feature writer for Touchdown Alabama Magazine.

It was verified and has the source. Please don't make stupid statements without knowing the facts, it makes ALL fans here look dumb...

Hey hey now, all fans here aren't dumb. In fact, there are lots of good minds here for discussion and analysis. You seem to write lots of good stuff beachbama...maybe you could hang out here at SECtalk and get to see/know us all for yourself instead of linking your own BR articles and then not posting anything else. Just a thought.
MIRACLES HAPPEN!

Well, the Bleacher report stuff is always crap, but the story itself is true. That kid that got arrested for shoplifting got busted on the 7th, just a few hours before the Memphis game; and Kiffin was aware of it, and still made those lame speeches about his players not having any character issues or legal incidents. He did flat out lie; but I suspect he didn't think the shoplifting thing would come out. The man just lied to everybody, knowing he wasn't being honest about what he was saying, either on the SEC coaches teleconference call or to reporters when he did the interviews about the armed robbery.

On the heels of three players being arrested last week on attempted armed robbery charges, Tennessee has another player in trouble with the law.

Freshman defensive back Nyshier Oliver, who was redshirting this season, was cited for theft after shoplifting at a Knoxville mall on Nov. 7, only hours before Tennessee faced Memphis later that night, according to a Knox County Sheriff's Department report.

According to police, Oliver was spotted putting a brown Polo shirt valued at approximately $110 into a shopping bag. He was cited at 1:45 p.m., and Tennessee's game that night kicked off at 7 p.m.

Oliver's punishment was handled internally, but he was taken off the dress roster for that game and banned from team activities, according to Tennessee athletic department spokesperson Tiffany Carpenter.

Four days after Oliver's run-in with the law, Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin went on the SEC coaches teleconference and praised his team for not having any arrests in 11 months.

Then early the next morning, freshmen Nu'Keese Richardson, Mike Edwards and Janzen Jackson were arrested and charged with attempting to rob two people sitting in a car outside a convenience store near campus.

Ya had me going for a minute here with the pseudo-professionalism thing....until I got to that part there. Yeah...no one here trusts anything that comes from Bleacher Report. It's all just fan rehashed garbage from forums and blogs. If you're looking to earn some respect here from some kind of "crack journalism" or "sports writing" you might want to think about using what we'd consider a reputable source.

If you're interested in playing in the 2010 SECTalk Fantasy Baseball League, post in the Games and Fantasy forum and let us know.

I think you toss around words like "our" and "we" way too much. I know that my heart sure didn't go out to Kiffin, and I would not give him a pass. I KNEW the kind of people Ed Orgeron went after, so on a scale of one to ten from least to most surprising this rates at about a negative five.

Bleacher report forum drama aside, fact is he did get caught in a straight up lie. lol That he had the face to know that and FOUR DAYS later not only make mention of their discipline, but use it as plus to his coaching ability lol
