They didn't "ban the chant". They stopped playing a song. You aren't going to get tossed from the stadium for the chant. The kids can still say it as much as they like.

Ok I don't care if they banned it, stopped the band, or passed out leaflets Im just saying there's nothing wrong with "the south will rise again."

I hope the south does oneday take over the North in importance because our ideals and morals are better suited for the future of this country.

I don't think this statement is very fair. I think people are pretty much the same anywhere you go morality wise, its just the stereotypes that keep us from seeing the slightly smaller voices within different regions. But in terms of importance, it does look like the South has become attractive to manufacturing industries, which is very welcome.
