If someone wants to dispute the argument he should do so by debating the merits of the OP, not by distorting them. I'm pretty sure the originator of the thread can do simple math without our help.
On the contrary, since the OP didn't actually do a whole lot of analysis of his team himself, I got the impression he was down in the dumps, and was asking if folks had the same negative opinion of his team that he did. He seems to be asking, "Should we fans just give up on this year?". Apparently, that's the impression most of us got.

He seems to also be asking if we think Ole Miss can still pull it all back together for their remaining games, again, while giving little analysis of actual problems with his team; and I'm pretty sure I answered that aspect of the question when I said their 3 remaining games were winnable... and I do believe they have a very good chance of winning all 3.

If any of us actually had some legitimate suggestions about how best to accomplish that goal, we'd be in Nutt's office handing over our resume.

Arkansas-Houston would provide an entertaining bowl game featuring 2 big time QBs. The game would also bring back memories of the SWC days.

I hope you're wrong. I don't want to go to Memphis. I'd rather go to Shreveport.

Of course the season isn't over, beating LSU would make it a pretty good season.

Why? Are you a casino guy? The Liberty Bowl is a nicer stadium IMO and I like the city of Memphis better.

The Liberty picks before the Indy, so its possible a 6-6 team like USC or UK will end up in Shreveport and Birmingham.

He sure did a lot of talking about how the wheels had run off and not much analysis of what the backup QB could bring to the table or how they could run the ball without wearing out McCluster. I don't know. He seemed down and I wanted to cheer the man up but all I got was a lecture from RDB about being off topic, like he was some dam thread nazzi. It's not fun to be talked down to by anybody.

I may just be acting crazy though. I fell off the wagon last Saturday night and I've been real snippy and defensive, I don't know what's up. A 2 day hang over is he11.

Memphis is filthy, especially the area around the Liberty Bowl. Sure I like casinos, but there are more around Memphis than Shreveport. I also don't want to play a Conference USA team in a bowl. I know Shreveport is a dump with a crappy stadium, but you're more likely to get mugged in Memphis.

i think they are all winable, but the toughest will be tennessee who really seems to have found who they are. i think the chance vs arky is better than you may think, but they should be favored. i agree that the egg bowl should be a tossup. with only 1 of the 2 bowl sub-div wins counting towards bowl ellig, the egg bowl might be the deciding factor as to who goes to a bowl. finally, the egg bowl means something agian....well, we have to keep our end of the bargan and win one of the next two.

Missstate Certainly a disappointing season ...
when you consider all the hype entering it.

The team still has a chance to make it a very good season, but not the great one that was hyped. This season proves you're not as good as most people thought you were and not as bad as I wanted you to be.

Plus it's harder to escape now that Lance Thompson has built a fence around it.

I was not suggesting the backup QB was the answer, but suggesting that he be put in for a series or two and use that time for coaching Snead. When I mentioned Dexter it was meant in the light that I was more worried about over using him because of the fact we cannot trust our passing game.

Also I mentioned the fact that there seems to be a blame game going on between the QB and receivers and was wondering if anyone else was noticing that happening.

Am I down Yes I don’t think we have lived up to expectations (and my expectation was a 15 or 16 ranked team).

I was really looking for opinions on what others were seeing in our team in a hope to gain better knowledge of what is really going on with OM.
