Considering your QB, RB, and your best DB were hurt most of the game and we barely won, I'd say it was a brilliant effort from the Tigers. You guys played hard and fought well all game. Congrats to you guys for a hell of a football game.
Now, I just want to address that Peterson INT no-call. LSU fans will probably say that cost them the game, the officials gave it to Bama, blah, blah, blah. Well, that one play didn't cost you the football game. Burning all your timeouts before the 4th quarter, injuries to key players, and letting Ingram run all over your defense is what cost you the game. I just want to get that out of the way because I'm sure we'll hear it from LSU fans well into next year. Bottom line: Your team played well. Bama played better.
It was a great football game. Bama came through when they had to; the mark of a great team. Congratulations and here's wishing you a successful conclusion in your NC run.
I lost a bet so here's my new sig for awhile.

The refs let Julio Jones run virtually untouched for the endzone? The refs convinced Les Miles to go for 2? The refs helped Leigh Tiffin make the 40-yard field goal?
Guys, that's just not close enough to tell.

That was a hell of a game--a heavyweight prize fight, well played by both sides.

You LSU fans crying about the officiating does a disservice to your entire fanbase. The ONLY questionable call in the game was the no-call facemask. Those things happen all the time. The refs just missed it. It happens. As to the INT, had it been called an INT on the field, the call would have stood. There just wasn't good enough evidence to overturn the call. The on the field ref erred on the side of caution.
Those 2 calls didn't cost your team the football game. Why don't you address the cramping and injuries to your players? The timeouts wasted? The bad procedure calls? Those things are why you lost. That goes back to coaching. There are instances where the refs can screw a team and force them to lose. Today that didn't happen.

Attention class:
The above comment exemplifies how to post after weeks/months of good natured ribbing and especially after a heart breaking loss.
