If Florida didn't beat us by 2 TD's, then Alabama is unlikely to either.

That's right, Florida held LSU to 3.

You do know about a thing called matchups right? Some teams matchup really well against others. Bama matches up really well against MSU because they can stop the run and that's all MSU can do really effectively. They'll force Lee to throw the ball around a bit. You remember he leads the league in INTs right? The matchup doesn't bode well for your team.

Also, LSU only let UF score 13 on them. So...yeah. Bama is not Florida.

You're right, statistically Florida is better in almost every significant category. So if we're comparing Florida and Bama, then I say State has a better shot next saturday then we did against Florida. But I'm certain the the officials won't let state even get close.

I think the point is that all teams match up head-to-head differently. I'm not saying what the score will be or even who will win. Historically, State has always matched us pretty well with their style of play and athletes, but this is a different season with different players, so we will have to wait and see.

Pretty sure Jevan Snead leads the league in INT's, though I could be wrong.

We'll see though, I don't see Alabama winning by 2 TD's. Considering we've beaten you before when we didn't do anything well. See: 2006, 2007, 1980, 2009???

If you've missed the obtuse amounts of calls that have been wrongly called in favor of Florida and Bama then you've been living under a rock.

I don't see Miss. State scoring a whole lotta points against us. Our run defense is stout and our depth is greater than MSU's. State can really be one-dimensional on offense. I don't think Tyson Lee or whoever is quarterbacking MSU has the tools to put the team on his back and beat Bama with the passing game. They will lean on Dixon and the guy is tough to stop, but stopping the run is Bama's MO.

What concerns me more is how the offense will look playing in a hostile environment. It wouldn't even be a stretch to say that this may be the most hostile environment we've played in to this point. Va Tech was a neutral site. Kentucky was a blowout by halftime. Ole Miss game was hardly in doubt.

This one, on the other hand, will be under the lights and State has been down this road before vs Florida. I think their defense will come out prepared to play. Bama looked terrific moving the ball vs LSU today...will that momentum carry over to MSU even though we leave the friendly confines of BDS? Can State's opportunistic defense make plays to keep them in the game the way they did against Florida? That's where the Bulldogs have the best chance to win, imo. If they get some big plays/scores from their D/special teams.
MIRACLES HAPPEN!

Let me guess, Chattanooga is in a perfect position to upset us if we get past MSU.

No disrespect to MSU, but why the hell is Alabama ALWAYS on upset alert? Even against unranked opponets we are in for an "upset" MSU can't be overlooked, they came within 10 points of the Gators. I don't know, it never changes.

Just like it was unlikely for Alabama to beat UT and LSU because they played the Gators tough.
