Guess I need to be patient with the my Hogs, this season has been frustrating.
with a little more consistency the hogs could be 7-1. Alabama was the only game I think the hogs could not have won. Maybe next year will be the year.

Based on their starting lineups from their most recent games, Arkansas and Vanderbilt are the two youngest teams in the SEC.
I had a question earlier this week about which team was starting the most freshmen and sophomores. The Hogs started 11 last week in their 63-27 win over Eastern Michigan, and the Commodores started 10 in their 56-31 loss to Georgia Tech.
Arkansas has started six true freshmen this season, which is tied for the second most nationally and leads the SEC.
The Hogs aren't the only ones starting true freshmen, though. Mississippi State started four true freshmen in its 31-24 win over Kentucky last week, while South Carolina started three true freshmen in its 31-13 loss to Tennessee and Georgia started three true freshmen in its 41-17 loss to Florida.
Here's the breakdown by team of the number of freshmen and sophomores in the starting lineup:
Arkansas: 11
Vanderbilt: 10
Georgia: 9
South Carolina: 9
Alabama: 7
Kentucky: 7
LSU: 6
Auburn: 5
Florida: 4
Tennessee: 4
Ole Miss: 1
Anyways, I think Arkansas is heading in the right direction. If you guys can get Mallet to play with more consistency and get your hands on a good DC... you'll be a power in the West for certain.
Ryan Mallett-Sophomore
Joe Adams- Sophomore
Jarius Wright- Sophomore
Greg Childs- Sophomore
Ronnie Wingo- Freshman
Knile Davis- Freshman
Cobi Hamilton- Freshman
And that's just the offensive skill players. Young team, but yeah, they make you want to pull your hair out at times....Future's looking pretty good though.

On defense we have as many as 7 true freshmen on the field at the same time.
Garcia's a sophomore? I swear I've been hearing about his problems for five years.

It'll be interesting to see how the graduations affect Tennessee. Kiffin is moving them in the right direction, but they lose an experienced QB and other key spots. Should be interesting.

Yeah the razorbacks have let me down I picked them to finish 2 or 3rd in the west. Oh well there's always next year. I know our defense is struggling but ya'll looked like a different team when we played.

Y'all got more faith in 18 year olds playin SEC football than you should. Yet I do believe those freshmen will take Usc down by 17 points this weekend.

He's a redshirt sophomore. He graduated HS early and ran into problems as soon as he got on campus, then the same thing happened the next preseason. But he's been pretty good off the field since.

Thing is, with Petrino, I don't think we've nearly hit our peak. We've been improving and improving. Depth has been put biggest problem (particularly on Defense).
I'm not saying South Carolina has already gone as far as they can with Spurrier, but he has been there for quite a few years...
