Nothing, I have no brain and he will always be a bad coach
for all of you to consider Miles a good coach? Hes already got a national championship. If Saban wins this year will it count because he is winning with Shula's players? Will a win at Bama and making it to the SEC championship do it? Will it take a national championship? Miles is one of the top coaches in the SEC, hes Top 3 yet he still gets no respect around here. What gives?

The key players in this year's Bama squad are his recruits with the exception of a few like Tiffin, McElroy, and Arenas. Ingram, Jones, Cody, Peek, Richardson, the guys on the line...all Saban's guys. Shula left the cupboard bare even though it really wasn't his fault due to the probation.
Miles walked into a perfect situation at LSU and all he's had to do is not screw it up. In my eyes Miles = Larry Coker. I will say that his team has played a lot better this year than I expected. That said, I think Miles is a great recruiter. When I question his coaching it is his x's and o's skills that I put in question. His actual technical ability to coach a football game. He obviously has strengths. He wouldn't be where he is if he didn't. I do think he's extremely overrated however.
I think Miles makes some bad decisions sometimes but it has won some games for him. I think he is a good coach but sometimes he acts like a weirdo. Go Tigers
He had some great years with the majority of Sabans players. Larry Coker did the same with Butch Davis' players and Charlie Weis did as well with Ty Willinghams guys. History says he is doomed but I think he is better than most give him credit. He had a bad year with the majority of his recruits but he's got a pretty solid team this year (as of today). If he wins at Bama it proves he is a good coach but if he losses he lost to a better team, Alabama is too good to judge him on one game. He needs to lead LSU to the SEC championship with his players to be considered a great coach, but as of today he is just a good coach with a ring in my opinion.
Respect isn't the issue, I just don't think he's that good of a coach. Les, minus the talent at LSU is a mediocre coach imo.
Thats just plain stupid. If Urban didnt have any talent at Florida, would they still be number 1 in the country? No, they wouldnt be good at at all. Miles brought the talent there sherlock.

Wow, you didnt miss the point did you TG? They might not be #1 but that doesnt change what kind of coach Meyer is....that's "plain stupid"...sherlock.
