I believe Auburn should and will be in the top tier
That could well be, but I don't think they'll be back in the top tier before perhaps 2012 or so.

You are letting Vol hatred dominate your thinking. Tennessee will definitely be in the top tier and will probably be the king of the hill in the East as Florida looks at a Tebow-less future.
2010 and beyond Eastern dominance will be between Tenn & Florida.
2010 and beyond Western dominance will be between LSU & Bama.
As I have said before, losing Tebow wont be the reason the Gators drop off the top spot. It will depend on how many RS So and Juniors jump to the NFL. If I remember correctly the Gators could lose 15 of 22 starters, if everyone leaves.
The problem next year, wont be going from Tebow to Brantley. It will be filling the wholes in almost the entire defense. Regardless, the media will blame it on Tebow graduating. For proof, see what happened to the Gators in 2007. According to half the people on the board, Tebow isnt really a QB anyway. So if we get a guy who is one, how is that worse?

Georgia's got a good incoming class, ranked just above UT/UF by Scout, just below them on Rivals. Regardless of where they wind up they should have a good incoming class. If Georgia can fix their coaching/playing issues, they should have some good talent on the field.

Tennesssee has to get a new QB too. Brantley will do just fine for UF. Georgia isnt gonna go away either. They'll right the ship within a year or two and they have better recruiting grounds.
If Dan Mullen stays, and I think and hope he will, MSU will be at least middle by 2011
You make a good point. Miss State, with some better recruiting on the horizon along with the improved coaching they have, will be making some noise in the future.
The east is going to be very interesting next year. Every team but us is losing a large portion of their main contributors. We lose Norwood (which is huge obviously) but that's it. Of course most of these teams have recruited well but counting on a team full of freshmen is a dicey proposal.
