Sorry, had to.
It's ok jacobp. No problem at all. Yet, I may hook him up with one if it will help us win.

Don't do it bbqit. It distracts him before big games.

Well, maybe he will be distracted enough to let Austin take over the offense.

i think nutt is a good coach. from an non-rebel perspective, he seems to fit well there. i thought last year was great, getting forced out of arkansas and then taking ole miss to the swamp to defeat florida. fantastic!

im not sure i buy into the whole expectations argument. its so intangible, almost like black jerseys get teams pumped or deflated if they lose when wearing them. i think the better word is "inconsistent."

jevan sneeds play and the losses have really set them back this year.
but if sneed can rebound, and nutt puts together a consistent season over the next 3 years, you wont have to worry about playing for 9 wins and a bowl game. you guys can overtake LSU to be a consistent #2 in the west contender. and from there, you can start contending with bama for the #1 spot.

<<<Never been a Nutt fan. He seems to have Miles' number but I still don't think he's a good coach.

BamaPerry: No trophy for Miles. Not this year, not ever.

That...my friend...will NEVER happen. He wouldn't let Malzahn do it and he's not gonna let Austin.

Our women are hotter. It could happen.

Is that a ramp sighting? Kinda like seeing a UFMF!

It depends who's at the helm of the football program, the players he can bring in, and who shows up when the lights come on.
Of course it matters. Ole Miss will never enjoy consistant success because we can't match resources with our opposition. Sure we will have a nine or ten win season every few years but we will never be an every year player in the SEC.

I don't know how to post this chart but check out this link.

Orlando Sentinel - How much revenue did your favorite Football Bowl Subdivision school take in in 2007-08? This chart will tell you by Josh Robbins

Ole Miss checks in at #65 nationally out of 118. Thirteen spots below Vandy...11th in the conference...looking up at Mountain West teams. The first SEC West team ahead of us is Arkansas who nearly DOUBLES our revenues.

To be quite honest, I am amazed that Ole Miss is as competative as it is.

I don't like it anymore than you do, but it's just the reality of it.
