Who trusts their QB more to make plays? I think both coaches have had issues with letting their QBs loose in the passing game. Edge maybe to LSU, BIG maybe.
Did almost losing to UT take the edge off some of the egos? Lets face it, their college kids, theiir going to feel like they can take a game more lightly from time to time. Edge most likely to BAMA.
Who will run the ball better. Definite Edge to BAMA
Who plays better on special teams? In big games like this one spcial teams usually plays a role. Both teams have playmakers on their special teams. I honestly don't know who would have the edge here, mostly because their not my teams and I dont follow them closely enough.
I think BAMA has the big advantage here with their run game and being at home. They should have to rely less on their QB to make big plays. LSU may have to have a breakout game from Jefferson (spelling?) to get the W.
I agree with you about both offensives and would add that the quarterbacks are perceived as part a liability to their offense when they're off their games. However, Alabama's offense definitely benefits with a dominant running game. LSU's challenge will be whether the defense, particularly its linebacking corp, can stop the run. Remember how they allowed Tebow and company to eat up chunks of yards with the same QB running play. Everyone could see it coming but the Tigers couldn't stop Tebow. Stopping a top tier Heisman candidate will be their challenge. Bama, amazingly hasn't scored many points and can't break through in the redzone, even with the powerful run game.
Prediction: 20-9 Bama over LSU. McElroy scores a TD, Ingraham scores a TD, and Tiffin bangs two balls through the uprights. After the game I'll be banging something, but it definitely ain't balls.
Okay, I lied. I'm lonely.
Man, the big 10 even sucks at the internet -cocky4ever

I'm so happy to hsve SEC Talk. I'm used to ESPN where everybody just tries to come up with ways that one team is more inbred than the other haha.
Now to the game.....
The run game will be there, no matter how good LSU's run D is. We will find a way to get it going. In order to win, I think we must get Colin Peek involved. He is a force to be reckoned with, but he is coming off that tweaked knee. We need to get back to what works. Stop routes to Julio, corner and out routes to Peek, and the deep ball to Maze and Hanks. Mix that up with Mark Ingram, who I GUARANTEE will not fumble for the rest of the year.
All in all, I'm so ready for this game!! Is it 2:30 yet??

I could see LSU not scoring at all but I could also see Bama not scoring at all also. LSU has one of the best secondarys in the nation. Its going to be a crazy game

Well, according to the stats they have the 8th best pass defense in the conference BUT that's still good enough to be 24th nationally against the pass.
