Will South Carolina still be ranked?

Well, I'm patiently waiting for the Gamecocks to take on the Tide. In the mean time, I'm flipping between games. I just watched Texas give #20Oklahoma it's 3rd loss this season, #21South Florida lost on thursday night. Still yet to play is Vtech vs #19Georgia Tech, and Mizzou vs #16OKst, TT vs #15Neb, and So Cal vs #25 ND.

So, OU and USF lost, ND and GT is likely to lose. Neb isn't looking too good right now against TT(14-0 as I type this).

If South Carolina keeps it close and loses by a small margin to Bama, do you still think we will be ranked?

Considering all the teams that have and probably will lose, I think as long as we keep it close, we'll still be ranked. or at least we SHOULD be still ranked.

oh, you're definitely gonna be ranked after beating Alabama.

If they lose, no. But I think they're gonna give Bama's D all they can handle.

EDIT: Probably not. The SEC isn't getting much love in the polls this year besides UF and Bama.

If SC keeps it close, you guys definitely shouldn't drop out of the top 25. Giving that Alabama is #2 in the country and most teams have been handled with ease or dominated. With that being said, I don't think SC will drop out of the top 25 close loss or not. A 5-2 SC team is much better in my mind than ND, Oklahoma, or South Florida. That is if you guys lose of course.

lol^ well, I'm watching this arky game, and I must say, arky really seems to have their stuff together ever since the bama loss. They are clicking.

Not a chance we'll be ranked unless we win... and even if we win, we'll still be BEHIND that damn sorry, no good 5-2 Ohio State that lost to 1-5 Purdue.
If I had answers instead of opinions, I'd be coaching....

Since we're speculating, where should we be ranked if we win? If Bama wins, they'll be #1, regardless of whether or not Florida can come back on Arky.

Well, considering the pollsters love with South Carolina, a loss would put you guys around 50 or so and a win might put you in the top 20.

SC played a good game and they should still be rank because they went into Tuscaloosa and gave the #2 team in the country all they could handle.
