I like Coach Richt, but damn. Too many missed opportunities for UGA. Maybe the folks at Athens are content with mediocrity?

All of the above, this staff isn't interested in winning football games.

Consistently finish in the Top 10 recruiting and send more players to the NFL than pretty much all teams and we're 3-3 and very deservedly out of the Top 25.

Simply no way to excuse it, and Coach Richt keeps making snide remarks just like Ray Goff did when faced with valid criticism. This whole staff sucks.

Maybe we can go get a real coach at the end of next year.

We play not to lose on all sides of the ball and I'm sick of it. It isn't the Dawgs of the early 2000's. It's the Goff and Donnan Dawgs, and frankly thats being generous. We got lucky to escape losses against ASU, SC, and Arkansas. We could easily be winless without AJ Green.

I voted Richt but I take that back. A guy who has delivered as many wins to the Georgia program as Richt has deserves a second chance. Give him a Defense and some good things would be happening at UGA. He needs to find a great DC to help him out and he will be competing for SEC titles again. On the other hand, if I were a UGA fan I would be PO'd right now. 2 years ago UGA deserved a shot at the national title and 2 years later they look like this. It's inexcusable.

I'd give him another year to fire and hire some people before you even think about calling for MR's head. He usually tries to surround himself with the best of the best, and he's still a big name for recruiting. This year could be a fluke. Oh yea and find a QB. If he was Fulmer's age, you could start wanting him out...I've got a feeling he's got too many years of good coaching ahead of him to get rid of

I've given it more thought.

I'm willing to give Richt a year with a couple of real coordinators. Coordinators aren't our only problem though, we have just a bad staff all together. RB coaching WR's... WR coaching RB's... Searels is very overrated. Fabris is very overrated, and Jancek is the biggest joke next to CWM on this team.

Jancek doesn't get enough blame.

Richt is fine. Not sure about the rest. Martinez is probably gone at the end of the year.

Mark Richt is a proven winner. Any Bulldog fan who is calling for his ouster right now goes down a notch in my regard.

Coordinators, not Richt. And someone needs to be coaching our RB's who has a) played or coached the position and b) is not in his early 20's. I don't think Bryan McClendon needs to be gone, just moved elsewhere.

Georgia's gonna have to clean house a little with the assistants. I still think Richt is a great coach and this is more of a personnel problem. The only thing is that if they get a new system on defense or offense, it might take another year for the players. Richt could be working on borrowed time if he doesn't finish with at least 8 wins.

I have no say in the hiring/firing process, but he has several years of job security in my court, even with losing seasons. The guy can coach, even if he is in a slump. The modern culture of firing a coach at any whiff of trouble bothers me.

And no, I won't completely defend Richt. He has major issues to fix. But I can only think of a very small number of HC's out there who would be an upgrade as a replacement.
