This game has me curious. How well will the Tide offense do without the likes of JPW and Andre Smith? Time will tell. Barring a loss against VT the Tide should remain undefeated on the day they play OM, and by that time, most of the kinks should be worked out of the Tide offense. Ole Miss has been said to be overrated in the polls and all around in the SEC. However, they did beat the NC Gators and came within four points of Alabama last season. If they have improved any this season, from the last, then they will be hell for teams like Bama and LSU.

most interesting game on our schedule in my opinion.. both teams should be undefeated or have lost 1 game coming in, and the winner might just be atop the west when its all said and done.

With a win over VT, Bama's next four games before Ole Miss shouldn't be too challenging. Arky will put up a fight, probably not enough to win though. Ole Miss' first four games before Bama are all winnable. SC would be the only possible upset victory. When Bama rolls into Oxford I expect a huge intensity from both teams as if it were the game to ultimately decide the West title. But alas the game comes before mid season, so that determination will have to wait. Bama won't struggle, but they will have to fight hard to get their 6th win.

Bama's line/lb's should take care of Ole Miss's run game forcing them to pass and w/us three solid deep at corners and safety I believe we win that matchup

Honestly, while I have often said Ole Miss is overrated, this is the only game on our schedule that scares me, besides Va Tech. I'm not worried about Tennessee or Arkansas and certainly not LSwho or Auburn, but I'm worried about Ole Miss. I think it's a winnable game for them, but I still think Bama comes out on top. It will be close though. I expect the defense to settle this game.
Since losing my sig bet I'll sport my Auburn sig until Nov. 14th
You people have it all wrong. This game will mean nothing. LSU , led by 2009 Heisman Trophy winner Jordan Jefferson, will run the table in the SEC.
RTR
agreed. bama and ole miss are garbage and will finish 5th and 6th in the west

I agree this one should be close both teams are very similar. We both lost our anchor on OL.We both have a dominate DL player Bamas RBs may be a little better but Snead has proved himself as a good QB.
