Correction: I added Florida as an opponent on Ole Miss' schedule. They are not however. Duh me! And I don't see Ole Miss in the SECCG. Sorry Rebs fans. My mistake. I really have been out of the loop for a while. A year and a half or better. I thought last year's Ole Miss/UF game was the first in a home-and-home series for some reason.
If I were a Bama fan I would certainly expect my team to win this game just as an Ole Miss fan I think Ole Miss wins. These teams are similar in a lot of ways (stellar defense, losses on o-line from last year). It could be anyone's game to win or lose. However, unless McElroy turns out to be one heck of a QB, I have to give the edge to the Rebels based on QB performance.
WallyGoat, you do not recall Tim Tebow rushing for over 100 yards against Ole Miss 2 years ago in Oxford? He carried the ball over 20 times and single-handedly lead his team to a thrilling 30-24 win (or something like that). That was also the first time he injured his shoulder, which may have eventually kept FL from yet another NC. That guy is phenomenal, and I for one think he will be successful at the next level.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to track the past two seasons very well. I've did a tour in Iraq, came back with medical problems and got discharged. I've been dealing with that. I had to put SEC football on the back burner for a bit.

To begin with I don't see Ole Miss throwing a wildrebel pass over the middle right before half time. You won the first half we won the second half but that one play ensured the game for ya. It was a much closer game than those who didnt watch it want to admit.

Where Im going with this is if you take time out to catch this game you will see a hellofa game! We want this game bad and I would think our seniors really want it lookin at those scores.
Do you know how hard it is to figure out who to root for?
Put your left arm around your wife. Hold your drink with your right hand. A football game is on. Now think how wonderful things are watching football and enjoying a Hottie Toddy! Pull for us dude!
Useless game that matters very little with both schools having to take trips to Starkville and Auburn. Arkansas wins the West.

Arkansas finishes 4th behind #1 Bama and #2 & #3 Ole Miss/LSU. Arkansas will have a say in the West title game, but won't be the end all deciding factor. 6 potential wins for the Hogs and a toss up.

Sat, Nov 14 Troy Fayetteville, Ark. W
Sat, Nov 21 Mississippi State * Little Rock, Ark. W
Sat, Nov 28 LSU * L (I'm leaning towards toss up, but LSU has the better crop of talent)
My prediction for the west:
1. Alabama 8-0
2. Ole Miss 6-2
3. LSU 5-3
4. Arkansas 2-6 (6-6) Their wins will come over MSU and AU.
5. Auburn - Don't care, hope they lose them all.
6. MSU - Don't know, they've been known to surprise, but will still fall behind AU or at least tie.
