| Yea, you'd think he had gotten his material from this board. That man has his finger on the pulse of the SEC. But wait, it's Dennis Dodd, we're screwed. It was probably plagerized. | ||

| His Auburn prediction makes no sense. We didnt fire franklin cuz players didnt understand the offense, we fired him cuz he played the wrong players and called terrible plays. Malzahns offense is nothing like franklins. Franklins offense was called from the sidelines and was a zone read offense while malzahn runs precalled plays and runs the ball downhill. This guy lost all credibility in that explanation. | ||

| I concur. I heard Franklin on the Finebaum show talking about his experience at Auburn a few weeks back. It was pretty interesting what he had to say. Had Tubs never brought him in, I wonder what would have happened at Auburn. | ||

| I don't mind being the consensus pick to finish last. Just makes it sweeter if we don't. Assuming he's right and all we need is a pass rush and a running game, next season will be kind. | ||

| In my opinion all Bama needs to do is get the ball in the hands of #8 as many times as possible. | ||
| The Tide had driven more than 45 yards only once. On this possession, at this critical juncture in the season, Alabama drew from a different well, the well only winners tap. (Alabama vs Auburn 2009 ESPN reporter. | ||

| He could have inserted "South Carolina" in his analysis of Tennessee and been equally correct. I don't know what either will do, but I find it hard to believe our untested QB and poor OL will produce better results than Tennessee's when you consider how our schedule lays out. Hopefully Garcia will take ownership of the offense now that we won't (shouldn't) be playing musical chairs with 2 or 3 different QB's. NC State is going to test him right away and the Gamecock nation will see if he's a stud or a dud. If he's no better than last year, we're in for a long season. Our defense should be pretty good and our running game will be much better. If our OL can open a few holes, we may finally have a balanced attack. That would surprise alot of teams that have enjoyed keying simply on our passing lanes. Speaking of which, we're going to miss Jared Cook and Kenny McKinley in a big way, I'm afraid. | ||
