Interesting. At the beginning of last year rival fans were talking about how bad he sucked.

If Stafford left UGA and all we had to replace him was an unproven freshman, well then I guess I might be a bit worried.

Joe Cox was a solid HS QB that along with MoMass set some school records. MoMass was a good receiver but come on, nothing that will make an average QB look stellar.

Cox is a senior. Last year in limited playing time he went 11 of 15 for 151 yards and 2 TD's with no INT's. Cox is not going to be a guy that comes in young and no knowledge of the system he is playing in. This is a guy that the coaches should be able to open the playbook up to. He and our RB's will have a better OL than Stafford or Moreno ever had. Will Cox have the arm of Stafford? I would say not, but in 11 completions he averaged over 13 yards each last year. The kid's career at UGA is 5TD's and 1 INT in 58 attempts.

I just don't see how the "experts" can miss this stuff.

Exactly. Joe Cox is as solid a replacement you can have for a QB that leaves for the draft. When Southern Cal loses a QB, the analysts don't count them out.... and Joe Cox is as talented as any replacement QB that they have out in so cal.

Alabama
Since Alabama lost all but two starters on the offensive line, you'll see a very one dimensional offense. Until proven otherwise, this offensive line will be average at best.

Its funny everyone call this guy a moron, but Im hearing like 7 different reasons why this guy is a moron.

The truth is except for florida, this year is going to be a dog eat dog year. Ark and lsu will improve. Ole Miss will be about the same as they lose some talent but gain some experience. Georgia will be solid but not sec champ solid. Alabama will slip a little. Miss st and vandy wont be doormats. With UT i don't see them being able to turn around the offense in one year, and auburn i feel is a toss up.

Furthers my point that as long as Richt is coach at UGA, they'll never win a NC.

Why? Because he hasn't in eight years? I guess it is possible, but as most agree winning a BCS title takes more than being good. Right now IMO the gators have as good a chance as anyone I can remember of being good enough to win back to back titles. Now they need the luck.

Last year UGA had the talent and coaching to beat UF. They didn't have the luck and it started before the 1st game was ever played with injuries.

Georgia played good enough in 2002 for a NC by the standards UF and LSU have won their BCS titles. Auburn actually played better than all of us. Yet, because if things not in control of the schools, they didn't get their shot to play for it. But that is college football.

If they could do it, this would be the time. I'm not sleeping on them, even though everybody and their mother has. All they need is for Martinez to remove his head from his lower intestine, and get those kids playing from the the start.
