| Kiffin is putting one heck of a team together, but please, do not let Orgeron scare you. And before I get jumped on, I lived with this man in Oxford, and I will break down why you shouldn't be scared. 1) He is a heck of recruiter, but he attracts a lot of guys that will not qualify because of grades. Also, he has a propensity of grabbing guys that were overrated. 2) If Kiffin allows this man to get in front of any alumni, problems will follow. He got into verbal altercations with all of his neighbors and supposedly got physical with assistant coaches. 3) The team hated him, and I am not to sure they didn't steal stuff from the hotel and blow the MSU game to ensure he was without a job. 4) He wants to be a head coach again. If Kiffin pulls the turnaround everyone is expecting and Orgeron pulls in the kind of recruits people are expecting, he will not be there more than two or three years. He is a definitely a bonus to the program, but he is not someone that should "scare" you. | ||

| I'm really impressed with the staff Kiffin is putting together and I'm really impressed with the recruiting job he is doing but I think we all need to wait and see what kind of team he puts out on the field. But so far Kiffin is doing a fantastic job and he's heading in the right direction. Tennessee is already becoming a big time attraction again for recruits. Kiffin is building a staff that can get these recruits ready for the NFL. So far I'm impressed but I will start trash talking once we beat Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. | ||

| I am optimistic as well, but I will believe nothing until I see the results on the field. I am excited about the possibilities, but I am not convinced of anything until I see wins result from it. | ||

| Scared? No. Wary? Yes. They are doing a hell of a job and putting an enormous amount of money into their assistants. The flipside to that is.... they sure as hell better produce some results, and fairly quickly, because the people flipping the bill for these salaries aren't going to be satisfied with a 3 year plan to rebuild. The Vols are going to have to show improvement by year 2 at the latest. If they aren't posting 9 or more wins by 2010, there are going to be a lot of people complaining. Still, UT is obviously tired of being 3rd in the East and is looking at trying to put Florida and Georgia out of business. But realize that neither Florida or Georgia is going to sit back and let UT out-spend them on football. | ||

The only thing scaring me will be year two under Kiffin. If he follows the other coaches who have came into the SEC lately he will either win a NC or be one game away from doing so. Get ready UT will be back sooner than later. ![]() | ||

| It appears Kiffin is off to a good start putting together a great staff and keeping the recruiting fire going. What remains to be seen is player development and Xs and Os. Fulmer continued to have great recruiting seasons year after year (almost,) yet could not get the results we were looking for out of those athletes. I hope to see better schemes offensively and recruits stepping in an executing. | ||

| I agree. The Barn is sort of flying under the radar right now, but the staff being assembled there could bring winning football back to the plains pretty quickly. The West looks like it will be a 5-headed monster with LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, and Arkansas in the future, while the rejuvenating at Tennessee will give the East a 3-headed monster with Florida, Tennessee, and UGA. | ||

| He is only 3 years removed from the high school ranks. We will see how it works out tho. I think he is a good OC but not the best. | ||
