Tennessee Lane Kiffin on CSS coming up
If anyone is interested. Should be very good considering the new coach announcements and rumors that will likely be addressed.

He may even have something to say about his daily bathroom cycle. I know some of you were interested in that.

Is his wife with him? How does she look?

Wow. UT is going to become a farm team for the NFL. When Kiffin is done, this will be the best coaching staff in the nation.

Except at the most important spot on the staff.

Are you really THAT sold on him? What is this based on? Just wondering. I've seen good stuff, but also seen doubt. Other Vols, this sold on Kiffin & Co.?

Aaaaw. Aint that cute. You guys are getting jealous that attention is being taken away from your savior.

Why is it that the Bama fans have the most to say about Kiffin? I think I know. It's fear. You guys realize that we are a huge threat to preventing you from reclaiming your SEC dominance.

Well keep the hate up. I'm loving it. I feel better and better about Kiffin with each homer response you guys come up with.

You are kidding right? No person is America has had more to say about Kiffin than you, including every Bama fan alive or dead. Good Luck with Lane, you will need it. While all I hear is about what Kiffin WILL do, I just keep reading about Saban IS doing.

You're hatred for UT is documented. I feel better about your disapproval than any other. Thanks for making my night, Paradigm. I'm all giddy inside.

I'm not sold on Kiffin completely, no. But with the staff he is putting together and the confidence that others have had, the endorsements by coaches that have coached with him before, I feel really good about it. Much of the success you have in college football relies on getting the most talented players available. There is no reason whatsoever we will not be able to do that with the staff we are putting together.

We are putting in an NFL defense that has been proven and copied across the league and the nation. We are implementing an NFL style offense with complete balance. Everything we are doing is setting a stage for guys to come here and get prepared for the next level and we're not done yet.

This recruiting class will be nothing spectacular although I think by the time it is through, most will call it impressive for what was accomplished in a short window with tons of disadvantages, but after this year there is no question in my mind that we will have one of the top 3 classes in the SEC on a consistent basis and that is paramount in terms of having success in a league as difficult as this.

Looking back on this hire, there is no better move that could have been made and it was the premier option available. While I am hesitant to call Kiffin the next big thing in college coaches, I am confident that I won't have to after long. There will be too many others doing it for me.

Fair enough. I was looking for an answer just like that. It is interesting to see him build the staff. I do believe he will do well....but I think the Vol nation needs to stay patient with him if he has a few road bumps or growing pains. Its inevitable.

Although, to say Bama is fearing this....ehhh. I'll disagree. The reason I ask is, I've always been interested in Vol happenings. Being from Tennessee, my best friend(s) are all Vol fans, so its nice to be able to chat with them intelligently about their program.

Great post, and I wasn't referring to you specifically. More to the response to anything supportive of Kiffin by Bama fans across the site. Glad to see that someone other than myself is looking at this from a realistic standpoint.
