| he definitely slid and then broke down to throw the forearm it reminded me of the commercial where the ref trips the player to make the game last longer | ||

| meh....we end up scoring a touchdown on that drive anyway, so it didn't really hurt us in the game. I'd actually like to email that video to our football team - especially our OL - to show them what a form tackle looks like......it could be a valuable tutorial..... | ||

| I think that's why the refs gave SC the touchdown on the 4th down play, even though the guy clearly didn't get in. | ||

| All of this is besides the point. A ref hit a player on purpose! | ||

| And if USC would have paid the guy as much as we did, they would have gotten a few of those. It's all in the numbers guys. | ||

Luckily it didnt hurt us on that drive and the officials were actually pretty good for the game. No excessive reviewing or horrible calls. Still, I've never seen anything like that. The only thing that comes close is watching a Notre Dame game in South Bend where the officials cant hide their excitement when ND scores. I know it was a split second reaction and instinct tells a player to not hit a ref, but I would've loved to see Garcia level that jackass. I bet it would've been the first and last time he squared up to take down an SEC caliber player. | ||
